Prophet Velen looks like he is at a tennis match.
Tyrande cares about other night elves and that's it. Kick them out of the Alliance already.
Good Lord, just reading through these comments...just reminds me of one of my favorite quotes."Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but there will always be something to offend a Feminist."
Again Horde bias... We Alliance players never wanted our leaders to argue! Cohesion was the very reason why it was a lot better than the fragmented Horde.I start wishing for Tyrande to disappear forever, if she doesn't stand with the High King, expecially after praising him for being a priest and not a warrior. This game needs more Alliance oriented writers -.-
Well... it seams that, at the end, my Warchief and Varok were right... Taken darkshore will break the Alliance apart, not a 100% as they predicted, but they were right.
Damn, this tantrum by Tyrande makes me like her even less now. Yea, let's not listen to the commander of your army and do things you see fit, abandoning the entire war.And Anduin is no better, begging her to listen. Yea, good luck kid, you have good intentions but you not earn your place at grown ups table.I guess we have to welcome our Horde overlords now.
Ah stubborn old woman! how can she be so hasty?
From my memory the Night Elves and Tyrande have generally done what they/she thought was necessary in the moment. Her behavior here does not seem out of character. They are a long-lived race with many years of experience behind them. In some ways like the trolls they have lost much of what they were. The War of the ancients and the third war to name a few instances. In WC3 they lost what became the Felwood (to corruption/Demons) and then Hyjal/Nordrassil. Night Elves saw Darnassus as a place to restart and now those survivors of a fiery holocaust are refugees, with nothing left but their lives. I can completely understand why Tyrande is demanding that something be done and quickly she is thinking about the current situation of people on cots with nothing and those still captive by the horde. Seeing as Sylvanas was willing to put torch to civilians I can understand her sense of urgency here. As much as I can understand the unity desire of alliance players faction leaders are just that and work to the benefit of their people where they can. Though the Alliance is made up of different races working towards common goals they do so because it serves the interest of their people. When that interest no longer works then alliances may get dissolved. I am not saying that she is looked to dissolve the NE part in it yet it just seems like the immediate concerns of some of my people are captives to a sociopath and the others languish on the streets of a foreign city that something must be done. I honestly am curious where this story will go and how the current situation for the NE may get resolved...
Be thankful Tyrande did not leave the Alliance.
Oh I am at this point happy she hasn't, it is just interesting with the precarious situation the Night Elves find themselves in to see where things go. I would not be surprised if blizzard decided to splinter the factions if they didn't start using this as a starting point.
I will be very surprised if Blightcaller is killed off. From the second video he seems like he will be an integral part of the darkshore attack. which then means, will the alliance lose again, or win, but have such losses its not much of a victory.after losing the battle for teldrassil (bad writing on blizz's part for making her burn it down, she basically controlled it already through siege) and also losing the battle for undercity (Anduin was beaten 3 times by Sylvanus's plans, and magically saved twice by jaina and once by alleria), could this continue to be a "losing" streak for the alliance?i will not include losing rastakan as first, the content is not live yet to know the whole story, and 2nd, he is a weak leader who's weakness brings in the horde through Talanji, who is the true leader of the zandalari. so rastakan dying, is again a hollow win for the alliance, not winning much. also, possibly jaina and mecatorc will be beaten, so more ally losses but again until 8.1 is live, i wont comment on content not here.
Tyrande deserve one well aimed anti-smug slap here. :-/"If Alliance will not aid us ... we shall do so allone."I dont remember her or her precious husband attacking on Lordareron ...I dont remember her or her precious husband defending Arathi Highlands ...And to be honest, i dont remember her even on Broken Shore attack, where even Horde helped us. -_-
