So I have characters that were playing every day and say I got four quests that day that were weekly lock out quests or just quests that a weekly raiding guild might have the people for but even on my friends guild that I was helping them main tank through first couple of bosses in Antorus, which my guild only started the week later. Say I got a quest to kill the last boss in their. I had to go into raid finder to complete the quest. Supposed it was earlier before the raid finder unlocked or suppose I was not good enough that quest would sit in my log.So what they really need to do is two pages, dungeon and raid quests and the world quests. Clearly it never made sense to include the pet quest an alt picks up on a main or vice versa to count against the ten quests you have to have free when you hit a new area unless you want to spend five times as long running back and forth between the npc hub and the area the quests are in. I know they want us to stop and smell the flowers, enjoy the view but if I am in the area for the third time because I have one quest free and all the other quests are part of long quest chains that require a group... I tend to go play and alt and when I feel like it I come back and see if I feel like abandoning the quests completing and area then trying to figure out where I got all the quests I had not completed. If we could skip forward in the quest lines and keep the dungeon raid in their own amount it would make hitting a area to do questing in much more like oh what to see and do here instead of what quest can I get back easy and what ones are still in my log because they are almost finished but that last part requires...So really four pages, one you open to the left page, active quests two you open to the right page, dungeon quests, three turning the page and getting account quests on the left, four turning the page and getting event and pet quests on the right.
Really, Blizzard needs to stop doing arbitrary bs with lists of all kinds. There is absolutely no legitimate reason why quest logs, or our ignore and friend lists or guild rosters, or our available battle pets or anything similar need to be limited, nothing more than an artifact of Blizzard's old server database. Same goes with the player character limit. Well since past time that these things were updated into the modern era.
That new daily quest effect is ugly/obnoxious as hell. I hope there's a way to disable it or return it to the blue bangs.
With 8.0.1 today the glow effect is in with no way to remove it. It's a sight and I can see the daily quests perfectly fine without it but the only way to get rid of it is to untoggle trivial quests which also hides the ! which is how you know there's a quest. Blizzard are a shambles these days. no sense at all.I can't even see a cvar option to get rid of it.Halfhill market looks like a 70s disco there's so many sparkle lights.
