This actually looks really cool and could make gear interesting again. I like that there seems to be a way to remove the corruption if you get a piece that you don't want the corruption on. Looks fun and interesting.
What a terribly designed system...so you're saying I could have a normal piece, get a mythic piece and it "titanforges" so because it has corruption, it could be a downgrade by adding a negative effect if I already have corruption pieces? Whereas a mythic piece without "titanforging" would've been an upgrade anyway....Nice...
Yeah and reason like : you maxed your character skills, yeah now every patch you need to re-learn and max your character skills not just every expansions !Being nerfed every patch (because it doesn't feel at all like you gain power quite the opposite) if you don't farm for hours isn't fun and is something i felt in 8.1 and 8.2 (8.2 made me stop for this reason essence farm was a big no for me, i like to play the way i want not to have to do a little of everything)Also, this system looks like 8.1.5 objects where everyone trashed objects because of the negative effects...
The idea of having to hold onto old gear just in case I need to unequip my procced piece to equip something new doesn't sound great. This kind of goes against their idea of "You can use a piece of loot as soon as it drops."
"Your Avoidance is increased by an amount equal to X% of your Haste."This one concerns me, avoidance is a terrible stat, taking corruption in exchange for that potentially makes an item a downgrade? :S
If the curses effect other players I'd be concerned about taking that person to a raid or a mythic +.
I like it <3
Jesus now not only am I going to have to farm for titan forged items, but now I'm going to have to pay or grind to have the corruption removed from them? THIS IS WAY WORSE... FUDDDDDGGGEEEE WHAT THE HELL
Cool more RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG, just what this game needed.
Yikes @ that first negative. I like the idea of kiss/curse mechanics, but getting snared after taking minor damage in a raid is the last thing I'd want. In my Curve guild I'm expecting a lot of random deaths to snare RNG. The later curses actually seem less bad, provided there's not a "stay in one place and don't move" boss.
The question is, can the item roll socket anymore? Cause that was the biggest issue while trying to get the bis benthic piece for example.
