This is not accurate reporting by wowhead. The recharge rate is 96 hours as of 03SEP2024. In-game code has 1 concentration recharging at a rate of 345600 ms.rechargingAmountPerCycle=1rechargingCycleDurationMS=345600That would mean:
That's a fair and healthy system, but the whales who spend 24/7 on the AH and trade chats might disagree.
Can't wait for them to Overhaul Professions again for next expansion
lmao at all the ppl in the comments seething and saying how awful this is. You just showed everyone you don't understand the crafting system.
Maybe don't just focus on Concentration that Much? I mean, GEAR crafting is so volatile that it should be main focus to the crafter themselves, for self use (or alts). There are already many other ways to make gold, and better IMO, through the AH mainly. It's an option for one to park in cities and spamming trade/Services chats for their goods to sell. And concentration isn't the only bottleneck, there's the Accuity BoP too, which some people might still think rains on crafters and not put in on their own, and the fact that this early on the expansion some/most mats are still high on cost.Edit: For alt armies (namely with Alchemy and/or Tailoring CDs), doing the weekly WO (patrons'), I laughed at people crying out for some Orders requiring ranks they'd have to use Concentration to fill them. Shocking right? Unless those toons have or will be crafting anything else of worth (have equipment/tool profession/recipes) it isn't that worth to not use them, on these specific toons. Your main crafters will/should have enough skill/ranks to not have the need to use Concentration on WO, at least for the weeklies.
Why is everything forgetting we literally just had FIRST weekly reset with profession weeklies enabled and there's a long long road ahead. With knowledge points and leveling up profession skills, this will end up being almost useless in a couple of months, if not in weeks.Everyone just wants EVERYTHING handed to them in week 1 with max leveled profession skills, knowledge trees and all or what? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Seeing a lot of hate towards it in these comments but personally I love it.
4 days? I think I am just going to make all of my toons gatherers. From the changes that you have to do work orders to max them to this resource taking 4 days to refill - they just aren't fun anymore. I miss the challenge of leveling professions (but it still being possible to max them out), the joy of getting a rare recipe drop, the feeling like I was (kind of) important if I was able to craft something for someone else or a guildie.
The concentration system has pros and cons. You dont really need it as a crafter tho. All Recipes in the game are craftable on R5 without concentration if:- you have 3 blue tools (edit: this was possible through profession shuffling in early access already, with how many AA you get through Patron Orders, nobody should have issues having these on raid release if you plan correctly)- use rank 3 materials- have all knowledgepoints filled for that given craftThat being said, people will suffer because of Flasks/Potions not being available on R3 on raid release because the KP requirement for Flasks sits at 240 and for Potions its 160 which by the current rate of acquiring KP will not be reached by Week 1 Mythic, meaning every single R3 Flask and Potion will be concentration crafted, sky rocketing the price to the moon and beyond because there will not be enough supply to meet the demand. TWW's first raid tier will be remembered for the most expensives Flasks and Potions World of Warcraft has ever seen.
Is this really the take? That having everyone always be able to max craft everything at all times is the better gameplay?I like concentration. Atm it's a limit on the production of high crafts and I think that is fine. Certainly better than before when the gameplay was simply to gamble for a proc while crafting/ recrafting over and over again. While the people doing hundreds of crafts a week or day in DF are probably going to feel limited by concentration in TWW. I don't really think it's an issue for most players. Craft up a bunch of stuff. Take the weekend off raid, M+, PvP, quest. You've got like 1/2 a bar to spend again.
No one found the Addon or Weakaura for display the recharge time?Does wowhead photoshop the picture?
It most definitely recharges too slowly. Full recharge should be half the time its currently taking...or less.
