I wish that Concentration added a little extra on top, or was a full "bar" instead of just going to the next tier. I had a recipe that was needed for a patron order that required rank 3, and I could only craft rank 1. The bar for the recipe was literally just on the edge of being rank 2, and attempting to use Concentration just made me use 7 Concentration to reach rank 2. Like really? Just count me as already being rank 2 ffs. Not a problem now since I leveled up my skill a bit and got over that nonsensical hump, but still. In reality though, I want to go back to just crafting the item. Not a rank of the item, but THE item. This new crafting system should've died when we left the Dragon Isles.
I rather want buffs instead of explanations. I know its early into the expansion and we will have some miraculous consumable and/or just general QoL changes coming down the line, but certain professions production is being halted and timegated despite being fully invested into something using the knowledges. I am glad we have the ability to put "integrity" stat on profession equipment so we can lessen the burden a bit.
Dear Pinguin, could you please check if recraft works like in the previous expansion or not?So what if I craft a weapon using r1 mats, then I am recrafting using with a limited sets of r5 mats+concentration?(I will do it myself next week when i craft my staff for the raid, but i think this would be interesting for everyone)
Comments going " I miss the RNG bring it back" rofl. People asking for the inspiration RNG back over the concentration resource system for crafting are just wild to me. Especially given how much people complained about having to recraft embellishment pieces multiple times every tier fishing for that max crafted when the RNG was bad. submit order > failed > collect from mail > resubmit > fail > collect from mail > resubmit > fail ... ect.
This looks like the stamina systems you find in those chinese pay to win cellphone games
This system sucks and absolute trash.
I still miss the older iteraction of professions, just like they were in Legion. W/o this knowledge points BS.They should at least give us the option to reset our professions knowledge points.
Cool article!Unfortunately this system stinks!it would be one thing if A) concentration was externally replenishable, like alchemy or cooking or something giving a buff. F-it, FISHING can be the thing that gives you concentration back, i dont careb) Concentration was actually tied to the skill level, looking at a recent craft screenshot-- That's an entire day's worth of concentration for FIVE skillpoints. 5!C)if Inspiration wasn't completely effing removed as a system for no reason to be REPLACED with ingenuity, which means that there is NO OTHER WAY to proc stuff up to higher now without using this stinky systemand finally, D) if it didn't take ENTIRE DAY(S) TO REPLENISH ENOUGH TO USE IT.what kind of craft system sounds good with "yeah i'll be able to perfect this in 5 hours come back later thanks"you know what that leads to? FINDING SOMEONE ELSE.Even if people weren't being jokes tipping 1k for first week max quality crafts the system would still stink.
Lmao this is catastrophic. Now you will have to charge big for guarantees and even like that you wont be able to make the big bucks we used to.So.. bad crafting system. bad tier sets. Nerfing spots where people farm Dark zones.I do not see myself staying for long. I stayed for all dragonflight but I wont for this one.
Why is this info not part of the professions guides? I had a ridiculous time search until I eventually found this info about concentration and ingenuity. Please considers incorporating this guide into the existing guides for each profession, and the profession overview guide.
