RDF when?
There wasn't any discussion of the WoW token. They said to read their post on it and discuss it in the forums.
Y’know it’s bad when people on a populated server warn you, as you are finishing the starting zone, to don’t bother grinding this.
Ahh so they sat and talked to people that don't really represent the average wow player as they continue to kill servers based on their actions to feed the need to help those people that don't represent the average wow player out. Will they ever learn... Nope. They don't care and never will as long as they make money.

The term WoW community council shouldn't exist or at least it shouldn't exist with the people that are already running it, it's a sad joke really.
Don't suppose we can get a transcript for those of us who can't watch it right now?
Sorry, but this damage control isn't really interesting. When was the last time they did a Community Council chat? The subs must have been starting to be canceled.
Blizz has made Wrath a shell of itself. Like people know these fights and are just steam rolling content... but they've made nothing harder. They add a wow token that most of the player base won't buy because you get more gold for way less every where else. It's been hard to truly enjoy the game when blizz has done nothing to make it better. But I guess this is what "classic players" wanted. Nostalgia over fun, hard content.
Well, with the token introduced it's already a big step to making it retail imo, at least dungeon finder was in original wotlk (and works fine in private wotlk servers), tokens weren't in original wotlk, nor cata, nor mop.
Good $%^&ing god PLEASE NO RDF!There's literally 0 reason to put it in and it will ruin the community, which is the ENTIRE REASON it wasn't in from the start!RDF just means no players out in the world and no one talking or communicating, it's a straight degenerate line into the ground as soon as it's implemented.
Please DO NOT EVER replace old wow models in classic . DO NOT STEAL night elf model to make zandalari. Do not remodel the hood and herod helmet base silhouette. DO NOT REPLACE current spells graphics and spells SOUNDS .. please , the classic Penance spell graphic and Sound is perfect, along with my 90s VHS human female model …
This is a re post due to it being a reply to a post that was deleted by a moderator so unfortunately it will seem a bit out of context be here it is.Tbh these posts seem to illustrate both extremes on this subject and neither one the accurate opinion of the wow community at large. The first seems to want RDF the way it was done back in wotlk, the 2nd is a self important jerk that thinks because they don't want it means no one should have it. Take the following with a grain of salt as I personally do want a form of RDF in the game. The main argument seems to be that RDF "ruins the social aspect of the game" that's fine I can see how the crossrelm form of the RDF could have done that and I myself was in my fair share of crappy RDF groups back in the day with no way to call these folks out in a way that would serve as a deterant to that kind of behavior, however I think ppl are forgetting that the first form of rdf was not crossrelm and their for could not rly effect the social aspect all that much as you could call ppl out for bad behavior.That being said it seems as tho the community at large is fairly evenly split on rdf I personally think that it tends to lean more towards ppl wanting it but that may just be me. The real question is with so many ppl that want it why not just do it make it relm exclusive so that bad players face consequences and people that don't want to use it don't have to. End of original.That being said I have my doubts as to how log this one will be up as it seems the person removing comments appears to only be removing pro RDF ones(so far at least 4) so we shall see.
There is a reason Classic Era realms and Hardcore is thriving. WOTLK with the token launch just shows that Blizzard is out of touch/greedy and lied about keeping classic....CLASSIC. WOTLK isnt even classic anymore its basically Retail Lite. And they made a terrible error in the delay of phase launches. I have no interest in TOGC and we were in Ulduar for way too long. Some will come back for ICC but you can count on wrath being dead mid to end ICC. SLOW phase releases and meh content. Still NO RDF when its really needed leveling in wrath has been dead for months for finding groups and nobody but bots in open world. WOW token now...... just sad. Ppl are playing the best version of wow again aka wow vanilla or other games because of this. You can see the servers starting to dwindle already in population in wrath. Im on Benediction the most populated Ally server and you see many Guilds already struggling with the Roster boss.
