As of this moment, you have the Protection Paladin section labelled Retribution Paladin.
Formatting: Retribution Paladin is the header for the Protection Paladin section.
No rogue changes?
The Fodder to the Flame rework might not be much of a damage buff, but in a ease of use, convenience it is a big change
Why didn't this include the complete overhaul to Flagellation for rogues? Subtlety in particular suffers already, and if you are a Venthyr rogue you're drastically behind Kyrians/Night Fae damage wise. The change from a haste activation to just range seems like it could be helpful but the soulbinds itself need so much work if you wanted to be Venthyr rogue.
We just gonna continue to ignore the 15.25% damage and healing buff to Chain Harvest? (Not from the resto passive, its all specs)
Hopefully this will stop the millions of questions about this in the class discords lol
It looks like they're redoing Flagellation for Venthyr Rogues. I haven't seen anyone commenting on this, and not sure why wowhead didn't include it in their "highlight" section in the original post (or why no commentary here). This was listed as the "new" ability:
You realize that wow playerbase just want to play the and ptr whole not reporting the bugs? same for the streamers, players don't care about this stuff, they just want to see if the xpac will be worth to buy it.
MM hunters want compensation for a huge bug fix? *laughs insanely* Get in line behind BM and Survival hunters.
To abandon all the renown, structures and anima for a even weaker buffed covenant skill? What a joke.
The problem with the abilities that got buffed is that they don't need such small buffs. The buffs they need are the equivalent of 200-300% of what they can currently do.Especially since we are several months into the launch, even buffing them to become on par with the current meta covenants aren't enough. They need to be buffed higher than the current meta in order to incentivize people to switch covenants.
I cant believe they thought this system was a good idea. I want the necro ability for my DK but I love the aesthetic of venthyr. Likewise I went Kyrian on priest because it just felt right and I love the wings back mog, but the kyrian ability for priests isn't even worth casting...Look at the numbers for druids and mages... some of these abilities will only be used by like 1% of the population...
The interaction with Wild Spirits and Stomp was fixed almost immediately, it is wild how long it took for MM, especially considering their legendary is already a passive 10% of their damage compared to TWO BM GCD's for Soul Embers.
No changes for mistweaver? Why are we always ignored...
Now that I've played through 32 renown levels, I feel more strongly than ever that these major abilities never needed to be part of the covenant experience in the first place. There's enough story / theme / cosmetic difference to let players choose a covenant just on the non-power thematic elements, and have the ability buffs be a base part of each spec or maybe a selectable option in Oribos.
This stealth "bugfix" aka nerf to wildspirits sucks, really hope the compensating it. Without wildspirits burst MM will be as bad as BM.Maybe time to rerolling mage / boomie.
