People need to not blame this kind of stuff on Christie Golden, these shorts were well into development when she was hired. Also, while I'm disappointed in this direction for what could have been a very interesting character, do not threaten or harass a writer in a whole team of them, FFS.
After 7 weeks on the Beta I already knew I wasn't going to buy this expansion. Thanks for saving me some $$$ Blizzard. And thanks to Wowhead for giving me that beta key.
I'm truly fascinated by how emotional this is making people get... Like, I really don't care about the moral implications of this at all; I'm going to go happily-a-slaughtering the masses with my Warchief, log out, and bake cookies with my niece. It doesn't make you a terrible person if you want to watch Sylvanas torture and kill Anduin. Or maybe it does? Whatever, who cares, this is going to be a blast.#ThatsMyWarchief
Sylvanas is so morally gray. Genocide is morally gray, war crimes are morally gray, hmmm, is Sylvanas an analogy to the US illegally invading Iraq? Where 100s of thousands of innocent civilians have been killed? Azerite = WMD? Sylvanas needs to burn like she did the tree.

Have you guys played the entirety of BfA yet? With all the patches? I get this was anti-climatic and certainly disappointing but the expansion has yet to begin. Sure, Sylvanas comes off as a villain, as the aggressor, but now that she is committed to the war, this was a logical step, whether inspired by emotion or otherwise; neutralizing your enemy's sanctuary demoralizes them, cuts off supplies, trade and gives the invaders ground. Come BfA, who's the say Anduin, in retaliation wouldn't find himself performing deeds he has long chastised others for doing? It's easy to preach discipline, patience and compassion when you're not the one commanding an army. Who's to say Malfurion, Tyrande, Genn and all the other Alliance heroes won't commit atrocities on their own right? So how about everyone take a chill pill, enjoy the shiny new mount and hang on for a couple of months? If by the end of BfA the Horde continues to be portrayed in such a manner and all claims turn out to be false, then riot. Till then, hold your horses.
Shes is slightly different from Garrosh when it came to burning the tree to him bombing theramore. When she burnt the tree she allowed civilians to escape and even Saurfang did that as well. Garrosh straight up bombed Theramore without allowing civilians to escape. But find it funny the hypocrisy Garrosh had when he killed Krom'gar for doing the same thing just earlier.
I see a lot of people are heavily emotionally involved in all of this. And that's great, up to a point. But it's not real, you know? It's just a video game, a silly hobby. It's just a bit of fun, and ultimately of no consequence.
this is getting worse and worseburning the tree and killing the nelves because of arthas killing her and her people? oh poor frickin baby, so sad boo hoo. this is beyond emo, we're going straight to can-we-kill-her-now and i play freakin' horde. -.-
Yup
Where's your Elune now... At beginning I was sad for Teldrassil, but I realised that this is homeland for Tyrande and I hate that arrogant peach so much and I'm glad that she finally lost something. Go Sylvanas, I hope you will find redemption for your actions. For the Horde!
Good saying, reminds me of when it was used at the start of Baldur’s Gate
