Why is everyone talking about the MCU ? People keep bringing it up, not Blizzard. And it's not even in reference to tone, look, style, story, dialogue, effects, nothing. It's literally only a reference to a story spending multiple expansions. So the masses understand better I guess, or have something to relate to (? wtf). Blizz never brought it up on their own. You guys are ... something. You can't say you don't like the direction it's going because it's like the MCU ... all they did was announce ... it's just ... nobody ... they're not even ... you know what, forget it. MCU bad, wow bad.
My God, the neckbeards here hearing MCU and losing their minds is hilarious. They’re literally just using it as an example of a planned story arc.
I'm all for them wanting the story to tie together without expecting people to be able to preorder the new expansion right away. And I would hope not, if $49.99 is going to become the new standard price. However, they really shouldn't reference the Marvel universe. For a company that hyped up The Eternals, I don't think they had an answer for the people who wanted to know why they didn't intervene during Infinity War. And once Endgame came out, their stories stopped being mature, almost like they started writing for 5-year-olds.
"Zaralek Caverns already proved they could already make underground areas feel expansive while retaining flying."Makes it sound like it's the first time they did that. But they did that a decade ago with Deepholm already.
'' but part of a story spanning multiple expansions is putting them out faster ''What? That doesn't even make sense, then what about FFXIV?If anything there's more of an argument to take it slower and be more careful and think things through more and spend more time developing it lol. That sounds like such a bull%^&* excuse just to make more money.
I mean, they have been copying Marvel since Shadowlands. Lol they even ripped off Endgames ending in DF. This isn't surprising in the slightest. They have been leaning on Marvel and it's sad.
