I'm a Horde main who loves Zandalari and hates Kul Tirans, and even I think their respective available classes are a little unfair. If it were up to me I'd cut warlock and monk from Zandalari, and give Kul Tirans mages. Justification being the Zandalari hatred of slavery not meshing with enslaving demons and being above messing around with bears doing kung fu, as well as Jaina and other Alliance members teaching the Kul Tirans with magical aptitude the art of being a mage.
What? Jaina is kul´tiran?
Kul Tirans being any kind of caster might look odd aesthetically. The look more like physical warriors(not talking about the class). So I hoped Kul Tirans could be paladins...
Nice that they were inspired by players removing their shoulders. I understand their reluctance in having players choose story.
Jaina was an oddity and an exception, hence why she went to Dalaran to study magic. I thought that was obvious?
Choices must have consequences, but the DH choose who to follow after we leave the Vault of the Warden and I dont remember anything about that :(
Damn I really like how they explained the origins of the Drust, was interested in that a lot. Also, the guys at the Lost Codex are severely underrated for the work and effort they put in. Watched every single video of theirs with great enjoyment. Spread the love guys n gals, subscribe to them they really deserve it.
Maybe Jaina was one of a kind kul tiran? or maybe a defect one?
Happy to know that there is no restriction for allied race and sound like now all future races coming into the game will be amade the same way as allied regarding to how we will unlock them
Really loving the production style of Lost Codex, definitely subscribing to them to see more. Questions were good all round too!
"There could be a chance we'll see Yrel and AU Draenor characters again" Well this is great. I really liked some of the chars in WoD. I also kinda liked WoD. During the content draught I really took a liking to many classes I never played before, or specs. So yeah. Good Stuff.
I really hope we see more of Yrel. I know some people don't like her but the alliance definitely needs more Draenei leaders especially ones who aren't so intrinsically tied with the legion.
Saurfang is the guy i respect the most! Although war will never end.
As far as I understand reasons why Kul Tirans shouldn't be mages, I'd like to say, that we have ORC and TROLL MAGES (and priests), which have no sense at all. They should not be a thing, lorewise. When orcs or darkspear trolls were dabbling into arcane? Never, as far as I remember. Same for Light, they were NEVER light worshippers, so there should be no troll or orc priests. Kul Tirans, on the other hand, have more reasons to be mages.Lorewise, mages are using arcane to cast spells. Frost or fire mages, are using arcane energies to produce fire and ice, while arcane mages are using pure arcane energy. So if you can control ice with arcane, I think this should also be possible with water. Although, we don't know how exactly sea priests are controlling waters, so I won't be suprised if my idea will be proved wrong.
Very strange how they choose to limit class race combos. I'll never understand the logic.
I never realized that a consideration the animations were when developing allied races... I'm certainly eager to see they are noticeable.
