And why no kul'tirans paladin, but zandalari? lol
Very much ok with no Mages for Kul Tirans, for now. With one of the most powerful mages as they leader, however, it's not something that should be permanently omitted. Same should be happening with Zandarlari and Paladins due to Rezan, but as long as they recovery story is implimented (in game) by the time we can choose them, then no harm no foul.Regarding Wrathion, his time was Legion, and that was one of the few true disappointments with that expansion. I like the idea that his impatience got the best of him and he arrogantly charged head first at the Legion and will will see him when Sargeras makes his return, but I still would've liked to see us discovering this slowly. How we was handled in WoD would align with those hopes, but nothing in Legion just concerns me.
To me, Kul Tiran mages would only make sense if there was a long beard available aswell... lol
Bring Kul Tiran mages -_-
KT mages and paladins need to happen.
Wrathion might as well not exist. He was a brief shining moment in WoWs history, then apparently slept through both of the wars he dedicated his life to? Uh... WTF devs?
I have no idea where the whole thing about Kul Tirans being distrustful of magic comes from. So far, only the Drustvar population have been shown to be very superstitious.Jaina was simply a prodigal child sent to study with the best human mage alive. I have not been able to find a source saying that Kul Tiras didn't train mages at all.In fact, there are more mentions of magi in Kul Tiras than any opposition to them; Tol Barad was (as of Cataclysm lore) rebuilt by Kul Tiran wizards. and in WC3 they had unique hydromancers, although these could be retconned to tidesages.Seeing the many different schools of magic used by tidesages, I would personally not think it unlikely that they used the arcane as well, much like how high/blood elven priests (pre-TBC) were 'mage-priests', justifying Kul Tiran mages as much as any unconventional approach to a class, like tauren paladin.
Could be cool to have more important choices, but that would be pain in the ass to make.
Only Jaina should be the mage, it makes her more unique.
So.... is the most meaningful and important choice-making quest a horde-only feature? As an alliance player, I really don’t see the meaning of this since it’s not my choice; it will just like any other quests, playing out the script instead of getting to at least vote for the script like the horde can.
I am so tired of hearing about high elves. For the love of all things holy just give belves blue eyes so they will shut the heck up about it already! Or better yet, give it to velves so the whiners will go to the alliance. Sorry not sorry!
Going to look forward then the Zandalari paladin question is answerd.
For those who are keep saying there's no other KT mage except Jaina, do you realize that there's other KT mage out there as well? There's a KT fire mage boss coming in the next raid."Manceroy Flamefist: Fire mage who uses the power of fire to attack his enemies" (https://www.cuckhead.com/guides/battle-of-dazaralor-raid-overview#flamefist-and-the-illuminated-details-abilities)As for tidesage they might be also called Sea priest but imo opinion they're not a priest at all. They are just a shaman wearing cloth gears and acting like a Priest organization so if they gonna swap out some class for mage, they better pull priest off KT human.Why?- They worship the sea not the light.- Do you ever see them use light-related spell like other priest?: No.- They have power to control the water and the wind, they can blessed their allies using water magic and which class actually do that?: Of course shaman.- Some of them can use the void magic they must be priest!: No those who wielding the void magic are get their void power from allied themselves with N'zoth and Queen Azshara.(Edited) - They also use "Anchor" to binding others to the area around the Anchor, this could be their own version of shaman totem.(Edited 2) - Since I don't see anyone mention this anywhere I will just bring it up here: The portal room in Boralus is describe as a place where the tidesage used to conduct their ritual and from that there's is a large amount of energy lingering there enough for making it to be a portal room(presume to be arcane). The portal trainer in the room is presume to be a tidesage (Yvia Wavebound). So I presume it safe to say that the tidesages are actually mage-shaman hybrid not priest-shaman hybrid. For monk I think the reason that they gave KT human a monk it could be that Aysa Cloudsinger who aboard the AA ship in the harbor teach them the way of the monk.
