Oh, wow... Legion hasn't been released yet, and I am so stoked about the 7.1 patch! :D I love just going into Karazhan and beating things up, but to hear that they're expanding on it with a dungeon? *Squeals* All the lore and more for me to explore! :DI think Blizzard learned their big mistake from Warlords through a hard lesson...
OMG OMG I love Karazhan, I secretly hope that one day we have to go back there. 7.1 will fulfill my wishes ! I can't wait, thank you Blizzard :D
I. Am. So. Excited for this! Just got a rush of memories raiding the original at level 70! Nightbane /shudder (Netherspite, extra shudder; Shade of Aran: "Stop f*ing MOVING!"). ;)
Looking forward to trying out the Dungeon of Karazhan
Blizz has said Me'dan will be in the game at some point. Of course, they also said Alleria and Turalyon would come back, and that was a long time ago. When kara first came out, players found the underground sections, and many assumed that there was another tower below the ground. Hopefully this is it. Most likely there will only be a couple of bosses from the kara raid, and many new ones for the 5 man. Ever since cata, the goal is to have odd numbered patches come out between raids(after 2-4 months of a raid) so that people get some content coming out constantly. There were never meant to be large patches. 4.1 was small, and due to the backlash they scrapped all other non-raid patches in cata. 5.1 and 5.3 were small. 6.1 again was a small patch, just adding things to the current system. I think the mistake on blizz's part with 6.1 was they advertised too much the selfie camera and twitter intergration. BRF was released a few weeks before 6.1, but several things were changed in it to make it more different than Highmaul.I think everyone can agree(even blizz) that for many reasons WoD was terrible. Not only did they do things wrong, they also did not communicate well with us(hello flying). Which is why they are releasing info about 7.1 so early, they want us to take part in the conversation, even if they dont listen to us(like the ability purge).
So, that was definitely Moroes in the Kara 7.1 teaser trailer.. but I thought we killed him in old Kara, in the Banquet Hall?Possibly resurrected by the Legion/only pretending to be dead? Now gone insane, thinking Medivh ('the Master') still alive or something... idk, interesting though. And who's the guy he killed? Confusing. Yet interesting.
"Of course, they also said Alleria and Turalyon would come back, and that was a long time ago." Not having a dig, or disagreeing with anything, but.. Alleria and Turalyon are in Legion! ...kinda. They send a message to their son, Arator the Redeemer and even an squadron of the Army of the Light to help fight against the Legion (I think either during the Priest Order Hall campaign, or simply in Netherlight Temple.)
NO, NO, NO, NO!Do not tarnish the memory of Karazhan by making it a 5man dungeon..Remember how ZA was destroyed? The same is bound to happen to Karazhan...
Oh Boy! Can't wait to do that fancy Chessevent as actual content AGAIN..
the new Logo for 7.1 is black raven feathers and red crystals like the ones we have seen on Medivh's mantle.... I hope that does not mean Medivh is back as a pawn of the Legion, since we all thought him redeemed after the occurences in Warcraft3 end cinematic..... I hope it is just a symbol for Karazhan not for Medivh, but Moroes waits for the return of the "Master"...I can only hope he means Sargeras, but we will find out in good time...PS: It seems that Moroes does not seem as dead/undead as he seemed at the end of the fight with him, he survived it and is obviously on the Legion's side....crazy old undead fool....Also hoping for some use of the unused dungeons and towers that Karazhan has (see the unused gryphon flight point on one of the towers that closed dungeon portal up there and the Karazhan "upside-down"). New fights not a revamped fight content...Nostalgia tour this expansion is in quite a few ways.... Legion, Illidan, Karazhan, Broken Isles, Nightmare, Azshara....
