Shadowlands dinging 50, a passive window pops up at the edge of your screen:"You have reached level 50. Experience is no longer gained. Quests now award additional gold instead.Click here to stop this Timewalking campaign and continue into the Shadowlands. You can return to this campaign at any time."Click here to hide this message. You can access this message at any time from your quest log while continuing the Timewalking campaign."Add the chosen campaign to the quest log as a non-intrusive button that players can access from any sanctuary if they choose to exit the campaign but didn't finish it yet and want to continue progressing through it. Do NOT make exiting the leveling campaign a permanent thing.Hells, make all the leveling campaigns accessible for any character at any time as a kind of New Game+ feature. You can do old content + old dungeons & raids at level appropriate difficulty then, which will add base game + 7 expansions worth of relevant content on top of Shadowlands.
Are the old class quest included in Burning Crusade Chromie time? This should be a feature all levels can enjoy. Would it not make more since to have XP automatically turn off at level 50 so we can enjoy this even as level sixties. If your toon is booted out at level 50 this isn't really timewalking - not sure why people are calling it that.
Experience gain should be disabled automatically when you hit level 50, with some sort of notification or splash screen with the option to port out or continue questing without experience. It's counter-intuitive for someone to have to remember to turn off experience at level 49. Every player in Chromie Time knows what they're doing, being forcefully teleported is completely unnecessary.
Wow, this is an awesome news! But, it would real christmas, if we would be allowed to turn Cromie time on/off on any character. Sooo much content to play with.
I think i will be able to get Loremaster in some expansions now. the ones i have been missing. Now with shadowlands and no experience gain i can finally get it done while i lvl a new alliedcharacter.
Do you still have to go to a pretty hidden npc in the pvp area of SW/Org to turn off your XP? I'm pretty sure most players aren't even aware that feature exists since it was only added as a janky twinking thing.

But what about all the players that are level 50 and want to go enjoy old xpacs scaled up? Or are all of us who have level 50 characters locked out of using chromie time. Can you allow level 50s to use chromie time (if we turn off xp first). Cant just be for those 10-49
This says we have the option to disable exp gains, but then doesn't say how it was implemented for Chromie time. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW? I keep searching and checking this hoping someone will update with how you freeze exp once in Chromie time, but have not found any answers. I guess I should have seen if the same outside of Chromie time mechanic of the stealthed npc is how to do it.
So what happens if I'm already lvl 50 and want to go back to WOTLK with a challenge? Can I turn on that option and have a challenge or is it only before lvl 50?P.S. Didn't see anybody ask this, so sorry if I repeat someone.
Because u level at such a rate that to experience the entire content u r questing in grey levelsCan not understand why they took away the ability to halt exp gain by opting into gold payment agreement u used to b able to do with the stealthed NPC in SW KeepJust bring him back please
