Meh...
Although I personally hate the infernal mount model, this is still a lot better IMO than the 100 exalted rep reward.
Oh look another mount noone asked, yet we got and people complain about it.
That's pretty cool looking.
lol more recolours whatGuess that's only to be expected from Blizzard nowadays...
Personally I like this mount, true its a recolor but it looks nice and its not a recolor from a model that has been overused, I'm looking at you heavenly azure cloud serpent, or a very dull one like the 400 mount achievement reward. For those who complain about its inability to fly you gotta remember that we will have at least one year without flying in bfa and if the trend continues most likely that will be the same case for each expansion to come.
Don't know why people are complaining when this mount is probably the coolest looking from all the mount rewards for the mount achievements...Also I don't know about others, but I love the blue color and in fact I prefer it over my Hellfire Infernal's red color.I'm personally really hyped about this mount, especially when I know what the 400 mounts achievements and 100 reputations achievement mount rewards are(at least for now, fingers cross they change them). It's another story that as with almost all other mount rewards for "hard" achievements it's not that practical, because horses for example feel more natural when running through narrow places.
I already have the best recolor, guldaddy mount. So pass.
While it is a re-colour, the mount itself is very unique in that it's only available in the NW raid. Unless the cloud serpent for 300 which you can get in many different places, this one is pretty singular in where you can get it. Plus it would hit any frost mage who want's to go for that winter coolness theme. I like this one :)
People who are complaining about this aren't thinking about it very much: it would be dumb and bad to put cool unique models as a reward for collecting four hundred other mounts. Do you know who will get this achievement? People who like collecting mounts. Do you know who it is most appropriate to give rare mount recolours to? People who like collecting mounts. This would be a terrible place to put a mount that wasn't a recolour, and is a great place for one that has been in the files for a while, but remained unobtainable.Rewards for long-term heavy solo grinding generally speaking should be niche ones rather than unique "flashy" ones, that's not content Blizzard actually wants to incentivise people to do, it's a thematically appropriate bone for a landmark.
Sweet that I'm already sitting at 380 something mounts just waiting for this to go live
So this is the first "Obtain x mounts (usable by a single character)" mount reward that doesn't fly. Seems to be a bit of a strange decision by Blizzard there. Oh, and to save anyone going off to check, here's a quick list:Obtain 50 mounts (usable by a single character) rewards Reins of the Albino DrakeObtain 100 mounts (usable by a single character) rewards Blue Dragonhawk / Red DragonhawkObtain 150 mounts (usable by a single character) rewards Jade Pandaren Kite StringObtain 200 mounts (usable by a single character) rewards Armored Blue Dragonhawk / Armored Red DragonhawkObtain 250 mounts (usable by a single character) rewards Felfire HawkObtain 300 mounts (usable by a single character) rewards Heavenly Azure Cloud SerpentEvery single one of those is a flying mount, so I can't help but wonder why someone at Blizzard decided that a ground mount was the ideal reward for obtaining 350 mounts. Just an observation that makes me wonder if the reward for the 350 mount achievement might get changed before BfA goes live. *shrug*
I like the mount, but, I think the best reward , maybe at 500, would be if Blizzard gave players their choice of a rare or BMAH mount. I have tried sooo many times for Invincible it’s disheartening. Or I would love to have the Zul-Gurub tiger.
Please please please go back to the soothing music that used be on mount preview videos. This new music is way too obnoxious and distracting.
