if i had to make a bet, id bet on the racials changing being just a bug.
This is the best change ever. Now people can't complain about OP horde racials being too good to pass for raiding.Maybe now we will have more Alliance raid teams because both factions get the same racials.
From someone who has fun with doing the mercenary mode every once in awhile, it may be the same system where it is literally a random race your class can be. I main warrior and have literally been every race during mercenary mode.Certain classes, like druid, have very specific options, but I know most high end guides say facials dont change too much so it should be fine. Sounds fun
Anyone complaining about this has no idea of how racials and bosses work and is probably a LFR hero. There's literally nothing in those bosses that can be made easier with current racials. The idea of racials giving you a significant advantage is silly and ridiculous. The only case in which this is true is Zul if you lack priests.
Why people are so scared about racials, almost every Horde player says that racials has been balanced out.I'm confused... thonking...
This sounds like what happened when we could queue for Ashran cross-faction. It was interesting, sometimes inconvenient, not devastating. I remember mostly not having defensive CDs like stoneform and whatever the gnomish one is called (in my head it's called 'zoop' because I say that out loud whenever I use it).
This makes me happy because that means my Mag'har Orc will turn into the op DI Dwarf with all their OP racials.
This would work, if they didn't make the race you got random. I really don't like this at all. You should be able to pick what race you want within the restrictions of your class. That would make perfect sense. We have enough RNG already. It would go a bit like this; Everyone in the raid talks to the scout, which asks you what race you want. If you are a mage, you'll maybe feel like trying out Void Elves, because you think they look cool, or you think they have some interesting racials for your class. Or maybe, you are an elitist who wants the race with racials thats the absolut best for your class. It doesn't really matter, 'cause everyone can get what they want. So then the player just picks the race that they would like to play as, and then get that race with random customization options, so it doesn't waste too much of the raids time. Just something minor like this would fix alot of issues. The people who want a race with some specific racials, can get what they want. It would make sense, they wouldn't get any advantage over the other faction, because they had the choice on what race to pick. It would make it more balanced. It would also make the players feel like they have influence on the looks of a character they are going to be playing for a pretty long time, depending on how much they raid. Don't you guys want to look cool, while you are figthing some of the toughest bosses in the game? I can live with a wrinkly face or a weird hairstyle, but i mean.. No one wants to be that one guy that get turned into a gnome. If they did it like that, I think it could be a pretty awesome and unique experience!
Why not do it like CoT?
Ugh, I'll have to play as a stinking night elf? I can tell Orb of Deception and Coin of Many Faces will get a lot of use from me in that raid.
what about the allied races?
And now they force us to kill King Raskatan.
Pretty weird that none of the Horde characters end up as Worgen.
I'm down, looks like an interesting and fun way to change up raid content.
People still believe racials are a big deal OMEGALUL
People crying about a cool feature that won't even affect their actual standing is hilarious.
It's just stupid and unnecessary. I have a button for Berserking, taking that away and giving me a stupid nelf racial makes no sense. This is a raid not a scenario.
