Today's build opened the last leveling zone in Battle for Azeroth: Vol'dun! Vol'dun is a desolate desert at the northwest side of Zandalar. The zone resembles an ancient, lost city complex that got devoured by the desert over the millennia. This zone includes many factions already seen before, like the Tortollan and the Sethrak, plus new ones, like the highly anticipated
Vulpera
!
The zone is controlled by the Sethrak, which are using Vulperan slaves to excavate canyons in the north of the zone. At the same time, there seems to be a civil war among the Sethrak, in which you can help a small faction within the Sethrak and earn their trust. At the south of the zone, there is an Ashvane settlement that enslaved the local Vulpera, forcing them to mine Azerite for them. Among many other smaller quest hubs throughout the zone!

Yeah Vulpera are going Horde for sure. Kul Tirans use them as slaves? Typical alliance tactic when faced with a race they deem lesser
Its funny that you say that considering what the Horde did to the Pandarens when they arrived at Pandaria. They enslaved them, including innocent little children. Not to mention its the Ashvane who enslaves them, not the entire Kul Tiras, you know the evil house that we end up havning to deal with. Not to mention Kul Tiras isn,t even part of the Alliance at that point. The only faction that enslaves other races is the Horde. Need i remind you of the captured Theramore civilians or the aforementioned Pandaren children?
Actually in the Horde starting zone of Pandaria we see the Alliance using the Pandaren against their will as well. So this happend on both sides. Neither side was using them as slaves exactly but they were using them in forced labor.
As for the Vulpera debate I think they will likely be Horde just from the zone perspective. I really want the Sethrak as a playable race though. Mammals are cool and all (Pandaren, Vulpera, Worgen, (and presumably most other races furry or not)) but I have wanted to be an Arakkoa for ages since they offer a very different racial perspective from the other common fantasy races such as humans, orcs, elves or trolls. The Sethrak present another interesting and distinguished race that would be fascinating to explore and present a unique playable race. I can think of very few RPG fantasy games to date that let you play as a bipedal snake person (aside from Argonians in Elder Scrolls and they're appearance is closer to dragons IMO). Just my two cents.
