Big Blizzard Bear
Really wish they'd get rid of titanforging as well.
This is just something we'll have to see ourselves in game to find out how it works.I'm therefore at this point not able to make a opinion about it *yet*.
Well, I do have all the class legendaries after approx. a year, so it was not a very big affort to obtain all of 'em.As for *forging - well, yes, it's quite disappointing to go inti repetitive heroic ToS just to get a roll to obtain a piece and then a roll to it become titanforged... Seems like some pieces of gear won't be affected by forged-race, and this makes me happy.
They could have removed titanforged too imo. It's just to random just like the rng with legendaries.
Glad that the legendaries are going! Though I have been pretty fortunate with RNG and legendaries, I felt they gave some players an unfair advantage.
So will Blacksmiths / Leatherworkers / Tailors have an edge when it comes to Azerite armor?
I do somehow feel sad that there will be no legendaries in BfA. Apart from the rng factor, I quite liked the surprise element it added and how happy I got (most of the time) when receiving a legendary.
Well.. glad the legendary rng is gone... weird system, that rewards luck more then hard endevour
I wont miss the legendaries!
finally good bye rng :D
Can't say I'm that surprised by this news. Hopefully the lego changes will be better.
man i clicked on this tab mainly cuz i was lured in by the 955 arcanocrystal... tasty
Really hope the new system doesn't involve so much RNG and grind. I like the idea of extra customisation, but when it takes several months to get to the point of actually being able to make meaningful choices, it just isn't fun.
Glad to see that they are getting rid of the legendary drops, nice to see titanforge staying.
Sinceramente pienso que deberian sacar el Warforged y el Titanforged y dejar los itens planos como en las antiguas expansiones!
I am good with no more legendary random drops as that took away the amazing-ness of a legendary. What worries me are these new Heart of Azeroth pieces and where they will drop. As a purely casual player now, I no longer raid (even in LFR) I have no time for it, so I relegate myself to the ever enjoyable leveling and questing, lore finding, etc... This is infinitely fun for me and no time requirements. However, certain quests and scenarios become more accessible when gear levels are higher. In legion I was able to do any and all zones without fear that my iLvl was too low simply due to how gear dropped. Hopefully this mechanic will stay the same and basic versions of the pivotal pieces mentioned above will not be only attained in dungeons/raids.
Titanforging not interfering with the "Azerfact" sounds good, although I'd wish it would be more like the old upgrade system - loot can drop partially or fully upgraded, but even if not, you can eventually upgrade it in steps via some currency, or merge two identical drops to grant the higher-iLvl one two or three steps of upgrade.
