good news about the legendaries
Good new ... and bad new. :(
All good news for me
I agree with the poster who mentioned MoP style warforging. I would like it better if there was a max of say 10 or 15 ilvls that an item could upgrade.
im happy that legendaries won't be rng drops and the getting rid of that system. There were some legendaries that were needed for progression to feel competitive, which is a bad design. If legendaries are ever coming back someday i would prefer a questchain which at the end awards the legendary item.
Well that's good.
Really glad about no RNG legendaries but I really hope they make the warforged/titanforged system better. It feels really bad to be a mythic raider and be weaker than a heroic raider that is super lucky.
RNG legendaries was such a bad idea. So glad it's gone.
BB legendaries, one less RNG, but the Azerite specific items, cant be WF/TF, makes no sense for me.
Not sad to lose the stupid legendary system. Give back the old way please. Or not, I'm digging the heart of Azeroth and what it can do
Yes no more rng legendaries. And really hope they change the titanforgeing
IDK if I like TF staying but we'll see.
I'm little bit sad that Legendaries are gone. I honestly enjoyed them because they could change your playstyle, and mixing them would let you select different talent trees and make them viable. Or changing legendaries for fight. RNG-behind it, tho, i hated it. I hope we wont get straight classes. I really love the idea of customization and adjusting your playstyle. For example i'd love to find a way to bend my class to one shot but do it only once a minute or the idea of it being AoE-based. I honestly think they should enable legendaries in casual battlegrounds (and lock stats / legendaries in ranked / arenas) Battlegrounds could be fun in Legion with legendaries but it felt like Ranked and really serious PvP. One of the reasons i miss MoP was how fast and different every BG were .
why would they keep titanforging?...
I'm glad we're dropping RNG Legendaries. I have never gotten the BiS on my rogue, and the expac is nearly over.
The legendaries weren't a problem, it's the fact Blizzard introduced the D3 style of dropping them rather than their original idea of being able to aim for and farm for particular ones. I found it annoying, like people have said here, that certain class specs were crippled unless they had certain legendaries, which affected not only their game play but being able to be competitive in raiding and PVP. The system was a good idea, it was just very poorly implemented with an RNG overview, which we know in WoW never favours the player.
Goodbye Diablo 3 RNG system. Hopefully they go back to rare drops or epic questlines like MoP/Ulduar.
As another guy mentioned, MoP levels of forging was good, maaaybe add an extra-rare one but it shouldn't go as high as 40+ ilvls. 4-5 warforge and 10 titanforge seems about right imho.
yes! geting the wrong legendary could be really frustrating.
I won't miss that crazy RNG Rollercoaster. Watching people reroll because their alts got BiS Legendaries, or being benched for someone who already had them was so frustrating and infuriating. It was enough to make me quit raiding for most of Legion, but I'll be coming back to try out Antorus.
