I don't care about squish, as long as they fix scaling..
How the hell do tou get 80,9 when you add 15 % ? If you got 81,2, I'd get it, you just added 1.5% instead of 15. But 80.9? I't's like 1.1% increase
Bring back reforging and give engineers a portable reforge =) it really feels painful using a 15ilv "worse" item because of sec stats.. They messed up real bad on this
One thing is sure, they will mess it up again and we will see several weeks of hotfixes to counter what was not properly tested before deploying it.
Why don't they make primary stat gains linear as well?
So this is going to make gear follow Blizzards main goal of hunting for ilvl over secondary stats. by making Primary stats scale exponentially and secondary stats scale linearly you are going to end up wanting to hunt primary stats later in the expansion.
What the point of squish if there just going to boost it up to the sky again?
Your concept of what reducing the amount of secondary stats on gear will do is faulty. Making secondary stats more scarce will only push us further into a regime where primary stats become devalued. Each point of primary stat gained increases the value of secondary stats, and secondary stats increase the value of primary stat. If there's less secondary stat available, then primary stat scaling is reduced.
I feel like they could re-add reforging, and slap it back on a mount that's already in-game, so players that care can just do it, and not have to go back to a capital.Maybe add an engineering item that allows for your raid to reforge once an hour, as well as repair gear and sell junk.
I also agree with reforging, it should be re-implemented as far as I'm concerned.Having played since the launch of TBC I definitely feel that knowing whether gear was good or not was so much easier when you could reforge, as it almost guaranteed that an ilvl upgrade was good for you.
I don't understand why they won't bring Reforging back.. It would make 90+% of higher iLvl gear an upgrade.. But, noooo. Can't have that much logic with Blizzard.
