And to think I was just debating whether or not to buy a Grand Expedition Yak. Now at least my main will definitely not need it.
I'm so pissed they are going through with the whole Ranked bull%^&* for Professions.. Yet another Expansion, because of RNG, I get !@#$ing shafted. Still sitting at several Herbalism Rank 2's and Mining Rank 2's... This has killed any enjoyment I've had from Professions this expansion and I don't think I'm even gonna bother with BfA at this point.
Blizzard did say a while back that the jump in bag size would be small if anything since the wardrobe and void storage cleared up a lot of room in bags and bigger bags just have people carrying around more crap. However, a very nice feature would be an account wide (restricted to your current server though) reagent bank or small bank for you to store things for alts. I spend more log in time switching from one alt to another to move inventory around. I am not talking a full blown guild bank but maybe 1 tab of a guild bank or so to access from all of your toons. I currently have most of my alts in my personal bank just to be able to grab crafting reagents for daily cooldowns. While this is fine I would much rather have them in my raiding guild so I can hang out in guild chat while I do my crafting or selling.
is it still Kul Tiran leatherworking if I'm horde? XD
Did they decide against the item level stat squish? The alchemist stones are listed as item level 865...
Really wish that they would get back into professions and reinvigorate them. As it stands I have every profession on various characters but I don't really actively seek out recipes or actually use any of them for anything. Personally I'd love a profession system like Revelation Online where professions are tied into creating BiS items through Dungeon and Raid runs, but Blizzard is too tied to their loot tables and RNG to even let Professions be relevant at all for end-game content.
Wait, so to make bombs an engineers needs to be an alchemist too?
Any word on whether they are keeping the 3 tier ranking system and if Rank 3 recipes are going to be gated behind ridiculously low RNG rates or force you into content you don't want or like to play? For instance: -- the several inscription Rank 3 recipes I had to farm Darkmoon fair for several months to get enough tickets to purchase? I like DMF but don't always play it on all toons. Being forced into doing it wasn't not fun.-- there are two LW Rank 3 recipes that require not only playing a RBG but being on the winning side to attain. I don't PVP, am not in a PVP guild and am not even sure how to get into a 'rated' BG or what the difference is. So, again, not fun to not be able to achieve a max profession skill doing something unrelated to the profession itself.--lastly, there are four LW Rank 3 recipes gated behind stupidly low drop rates from dungeon bosses. I've got 14 kills on one and 19 on the other. Wowhead stats show the drop rates seem to be <.2%I don't mind grinding profession related stuff to advance a profession I'm choosing to work on. But, having to grind a dungeon boss for a low drop rate recipe is not 'fun'.Nor is being forced into an aspect of the game that I do not enjoy in order to max my profession skill. Simply, it's just not relatable to play an RBG to get 'better' at crafting.
