If I read this correctly, then we are looking at a complete revamp of how the skillpoints are achieved and persued in professions, similar to the way we experienced the indexing of "old world" recipes. What I am interested to know, is if stuff like Pandaria cooking specialties, "Master of the Grill" etc, are going to be unobtainable after the fact.Honestly liking this change.
With statement of class unique utility in BfA, i hope NOBODY except warlocks could summon players. Get hands off of my lovely sweet sweet unique spell !Sorry if anybody is offended by this. I just live my arrogant, greedy lock life. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I wonder: will Goblin Hovercrafts be just another flying mount or a non-fishing related waterwalking mount? Though the Surface Skimmer sounds more along the lines of waterwalking.
>There is a profession skill squish, capping at 100What the heck? WHY?Okay, I give you that WoD was a joke already and Legion topped that by making skill points mostly useless. But that new kids on the professions teams should return to playing candy-crush.
This breaking up into categories will be great for people who only care about the newest expansion. Much faster leveling for the best recipes. Those, who want to craft some rarer items from past expansions will have to work harder on leveling using only the expansion-appropriate items.Even before Warlords of Draenor it was better idea to start the newer recipes ASAP, because the final 25-ish levels were always hardest to get.
I'm not sure I like the profession squish. It might just be my old lady mentality, but I liked having a really high number as it made me feel like I'm an awesome $professional. Other than that, I'm liking what I see so far. Portable transmog? Sign me up.
So classic blacksmithing stuff is still gonna be 300.... how?
Cue golden draenite price plunge as panic sets in when people realize they don't need them for their Flying Carpet mounts anymore
I was hoping professions would bring more variety back. Having enchanters do more and JCs do more. Seems like I was hoping for too much. I am surprised that they did not add in profession transmog skins. BS and LW making cool skins for gear, and JC making staffs, or something, seems like a good way to allow players to engage with one another.

With Engineers getting a stablemaster, I wonder if they will finally increase the limit of total pets. Most hunters I know(myself included) have been needing to triage their pet library for a long time now.
