That chat between Thalyssra and Liadrin was cringy af! lolI mean, that was SO out of character for Liadrin to say that crap about NElves. Btw, the sin'dorei fighting to save the world? All of their fights were mostly because some evil force wanted to use their precious sunwell to destroy everything. the same sunwell that was created because their highborne ancestors couldn't live without playing with the arcane, even after their world got invaded by demons, and then self-exiled themselves from the rest of the kaldorei society.Btw i'm SO sick of Tyrande being written as the arrogant crazy b****! She has always shown kindness and compassion to her allies, despite being a merciless force against her opponents. The real Tyrande would NEVER treat Thalyssra or the nightborne the way she treated them. Just go back to warcraft3 when she helped Kael or when she freed broxigar during the WotA!She was OBVIOUSLY written this way just to justify the Nightborne being part of the horde because Blizzard wanted to force those edgy emo elves in the alliance. The existence of void elves is the only thing that justify the shal'dorei not being neutral. Just like their kaldorei cousins they destroyed their well of power and found the cure to their addiction through balance of arcane and natural forces through the arcan'dor.
Wouldn't it be great if everyone else could see and understand the Warcraft Lore and Story the way that it was meant to? The question then surely would be asked. What is that Story then exactly? I don't know how to tell anyone else what to think and feel about a story as big and vast as Warcraft Story is. I feel like once I dug into the meat and potatoes of the story, I suddenly understood all of it, the way it was meant to be understood. When you follow the lore, and the experts on the lore like Nobbel, and others like him. You will begin to see that they all understand the story the same, and indeed even if they are a bigger fan of one race or faction over another, they still value all of them, and how they interact with each other as a whole.Bias is something that exists, yes. However, there are so many people that are so invested into a particular character, and storylines that they become really deluded, and defensive about the discussions. I really wish people could hear the truth about a character or a storyline, and not take it personally as to offend them. There's just a vast amount of people that don't understand that are so against seeing their beloved character be seen as "good" or "bad", that they will argue to the ends of the Earth why everyone else is wrong. I may be biased towards some aspects of the story, but I'm just interpreting the stories the way their writers intended them to be. Watch any of Nobbels lore videos, read any of the book, the content within them is how I understand the stories. I may be Alliance, and prefer to play Alliance, but it doesn't mean that I do not appreciate the Horde. Even some of the characters I despise, I understand their part, and I value their place. I just wish that people who played as the Horde, accepted the role the Horde plays in the story. It's not necessarily evil, it just has evil tones. The Alliance isn't necessarily good, it just has good tones. There are heroes and villains on both the Alliance and the Horde. I'm sorry, but it doesn't make sense to join the Alliance if you want to play a bad guy, or to join the Horde if you want to be a good guy. Yes there are absolutely neutral roles, and you can play your character, and appreciate the story however the hell you want to. However, I just think that if everyone understood the circumstances of the story that they are participating in, and accepted the reality of the faction they choose, then Blizzard would have a much easier time delivering the very best experience and story than anyone could ask for. It's utterly bizarre to me that there's people who actually think the Horde are somehow the good guys. What planet did you get that idea from?
Holy moly, look at the all Alliance whiners and "we are good guys" circle jerk between them. WoW is really became something else. Thank you Blizzard, once you did create one of the most iconic villian character in Alliance in the gaming industry and now, you are afraid of writing anything bad about Alliance in 13 years of WoW history. This what your community became. Guys, chill. Alliance is not only faction in this game and you guys are not the only persons who playing it. If something bad happen in the Alliance this expansion you guys will be devastated later. Trust me I know, I exprienced it really good with Cata-MoP as a Horde fan.And if you guys want to talk about "liar Liadrin and Thallyssra", I suggest you guys play and read or watch every single Horde quest in Suramar in Legion and compare it with Alliance ones. It is not just "Tyrande talked mean". There were huge differences between Horde and Alliance.I wish people start to look at the screen and read while playing the game rather than talking about fanfics in their mind.Freaking expansion reminds me too much Cata-MoP. Same topics in forums(Horde bad, Alliance good so kill Warchief and erase Horde, why Pandaren-Nightborne is not Alliance only), same players attitudes everywhere(Alliance players are jerking off high ground morale -went worse in recent years), same stories(Teldrassil-Theramore, Dalaran Purge-Ruins of Undercity, Lei Shen-Azshara mid patch big baddies, Horde becoming war machine but somehow nothing change in Alliance, you can guess the rest) etc. with Cata-MoP. I hope Blizzard can handle it properly. Anduin's story immunity in the faction war themed expansion is already giving bad taste for both side.
The Horde shall do no such thing. We deserve a place to call home as well. You filthy Alliance dogs will learn your place at the ends of our blades!
