Though I'm sure it's not nearly to the same degree but I've seen many times groups of druids blanket farming an entire area
Nothing's going to change until/unless it affects somebody's bottom line. Unhappy players don't matter if the game's still selling.

Yes that's what happen when a company doesn't really care years after years about carries. China might only be ahead because the market is more interesting. But we had this kind of problem when wow was more popular in the west. I don't think they'll do something about it, or that they can really do something about RMTs without hitting the legal carries market with gold, which they make a lot money by selling the wow tokens.
It feels like they are gold farming because I watched one force a vendor mount, they all clicked the vendor to sell, then went back to aoe farming.
Hah...even if this was happening in the US/EU, Blizzard still wouldn't do anything, just look at the Premade Groups under dungeons and see how many WTS groups are listed or twitch streamers advertising. No matter how many times you report groups for advertising it's not gonna solve the problem until Blizzard makes the penalties A LOT harsher then a brief squelch....
Yeah, the commodification of WoW has been around for a long time. Hell, we even had a person who was in the White House associated with a Chinese Gold Farming company (Steve Bannon). I get sick of it, opening LFG and like 1/3 of raid groups and dungeons now even on NA is people selling runs. Sure, most are gold sales, but its still there, a reminder that anything in the game can be bought with $$$. It cheapens the achievements for me and ruins some of the magic of MMos.
I remember that it used to be really bad on the NA servers too. Back on my bequeathed to my little brother account back on vanilla I used to get regularly bombarded with spam from log on to log off. It was a major factor in me quitting originally. Now it's a rarity - although I do play on rp servers now so take that as you will as how that's viewed for financial viability.
What do you expect ? But even so, the monitoring of Western servers isn't any less different when Bots farm still 24/7 and MultiBoxers run rampant voiding the zone of all resources with Blizz having done absolutely NOTHING about it...Until Blizzard and Co curbs their greediness for the good of the game, nothing's going to be done about it.
Sad to say but it happens 24/7/365 on NA servers to and when you report it that tell you that it's not against the TOS even with proof via screen shots of the conversations between you and the person sell the service for real money and they even say that they won't do anything because the rest of the conversation takes place off of WoW and takes place on Discord where they give you a web site to go to which tells you how much money in USD but oh well they don't care
