this is a great change actually
You got to love this "" You can lose up to 15 points by being up to 40% slower than the keystone timer"" well done blizz
everyone complaining about how this affects ksm overlooks how much better an analog scale of rating is compared to the binary pass/fail system of timing all 8 dungeons at a 15. In the past if you just missed that Sanguine Depths timer by 6 seconds you felt crushed and got nothing. Now it's no big deal because that Mists key you completed 3 minutes early more than makes up for it. This will NOT widen the gap between players. This will make ksm MORE achievable and less punishing to get for casual players for whom ksm is a challenging goal.
Sure sounds like a nightmare
Guys cmon KSM is a joke at +15 it doesnt matter if its tyrannical or fortfied. If you think its a hard achievement well there is something really wrong with you.On M+ there are 3 types of players:1) the ones who wants to get carried: they dislike IO or any kind of scores because they want to join a group thats not fit their skill level.2) the ones who wants to play the game: they like IO because it gives them a fair chance to select an proper and balanced group.3) the ones who carries: they do lower keys maybe because they are farming a certain drop or something like that and they dont give a f**** for IO scores they just want to complete the dungeon. If you are number 1 well just be less egocentric no one like boosted players.
Once again blizzard tailors the wow experience around the top 1% (limit and endevour) and makes the game way harder for the rest of us
