Shadowflame Prism will never see use because its counter intuitive to shadows play style. Only use this would have is M+ when you run mindbender and searing nightmare where your casting mind sear for most pulls to burn them down fast. That stacked with the very small range this has (5 yard cleave if I remember) it almost never gets full value if any value. This legendary just needs to be redesigned completely imo. Even a simple CD reduction would be better, for example every MD and SW:D cast reduces Mindbenders CD by 5 sec or Shadowfiends CD by 10-15 secs. Having to squeeze mind blast and SW:D into the duration of your summon for extra damage just feels wrong. Feels more like demo lock playstyle

For ElementalLava burst have been nerfed a bit, going from 108% spell damage to 97.2%. But Earth Shock went from 210% to 273%. A clear intent on wanting the damage moved to Earth Shock. I could see Echoing Shock being favored with the buffed Earth Shock. But maybe Aftershock might have use as well, since both Earthquake and Earthshock saw buffs.A massive nerfbatting to Echoes of the Sundering, going from 175% increased Earthquake damage to 100%. But Earthquake got a roughly 50% increased damage baseline. I am glad I did not craft it.

It's pretty cool to see a lot of tuning across the board, especially legendaries that are not seeing a lot of spotlight. I'm glad to see some love to the others and lots of class stuff going on for people. Solid start big blizz.Also glad to see SnD get the energy regen back on it like it was in beta (hidden at the time). Assassination kids should also start to return with Cut to the Chase coming back (about time) and some nice tunings to their stuff.Really happy to see the variance in things changing as well as well as someone who picked Venthyr no matter what, that flagellation got some changes and it will be pretty solid moving forward. Hopefully they stick to tuning things a lot more closely and promptly so people can feel at ease (no comments further than that).
TLDR: According to my (bad) math, Crimson Rune Weapon gives us about a 35s CD on DRW, for a 24% uptime on DRW.Im trying to figure out a calculation to see what the CD of DRW would be with the blood legendary. but then i realized im really bad at math.Edit: I might still be bad at math, but I came up with a CD of ~35s. My train of thought is that every 2s, you can consume a bone shield charge, which reduces the CD by 5s. over 34s, you have 17 bone shield charges being consumed. 17 bone shield charges=85s reduced CD. Add the 85s reduced CD to the original 34s you actually waited= 119. wait one more second, and your DRW should be off CD. this gives us about 24% uptime on DRW, as opposed to the normal 6.7% uptime. That, combined with the 10s (so about 30% uptime) of 40% rune regen rate, I imagine this will be a decent legendary. BUT, im not a theorycrafter, im just a blood DK who likes the idea of a legendary other than brynhildrs might, or superstrain.
They change Stormkeeper for Enhancement, and yet still manage to keep it insanely clunky with that 1.5 second cast time that can eat Maelstrom, like it has been since they lazily decided to slap the Elemental Legion artifact ability into Enhancement's talent tree. I was also hoping they might alter Primordial Wave for Enhancement to actually make it not as clunkily designed as Stormkeeper, but alas. Maybe further down the PTR line.

Yeah, the rsham damage nerf is pretty weird. Don't get me wrong, I like how the spec plays and I'm planning to continue maining it, but it's not like damage output was one of its big strengths.
