The rod looks neat.
This looks awesome!
Glad to see a return of profession quests this expansion, especially these longer story ones. Also, I'm pretty sure we already know that the Drust magic was druidism by our interaction with Ulfar. The Drust didn't start using Death magic until Gorak Tul began tapping into The Blighted Lands, which in reality was a branch of the Emerald Nightmare. In Ulfar's words, it disgraced the Drust as a whole. This questlne reasserts that.Like I said, glad to see these things returning. Now though I kind of wish my druid wasn't an herbalist and scribe, he's missing out on more druid stories lol.Edit: Her perc, Drust magic isn't death magic, it's druid magic. Gorak Tul was the one who started using dark magic, but it was neither what the Drust practiced before the humans came to Kul'Tiras, nor do the Thornspeakers use death magic today. https://wow.gamepedia.com/Thornspeakershttps://wow.gamepedia.com/The_Old_Bear
Does anyone know more about the "Gain extra resources when disenchanting" part of the rod? Like what extra resources you get, and whether you need to have the golem active in order to get that perk?
Main question is: does it replace Enhanting Rods?
That's a really cute questline~
How much extra DE material do you get? Did you run the numbers for a normal vs the Enchanting Rod DE?
It took 4 runs through Waycrest Manor to get enough Lingering Drust Essence. But after crafting this, I now also get the occasional Umbra Shard or two and many more Gloom Dust than before from random 266 lvl drops and my old gear.
