Its surface blazes bright, masking shadows belowCalling it now, they're referencing the Tree.
Can we get a void hero and not just some plot device for blizzard to bring old gods in? Seriously they showed us that the void users aren't all evil and if they made alleria turn evil legit all they would do is show that wasn't true. I would rather not have every new hero we get go back on everything. It would also mean. Oh hey these void elfs can't be trusted since Alleria is now gone... Soooo Kindly not do this to Alleria?
This is said by Mannoroth himself in the books ("Well of eternity" trilogy, just I can't remember exactly where), he even thinks of warning Archimonde about her and her powers.
@Haluriu In some books about the war of the ancients. Mannoroth said that he saw behind her illusions, and her power was equal to Sargeras lieutenants. And maybe even more powerfull than them. Another text ( i don't remember where ) state that her power known no others on Azeroth, and that she would have been a legitimate "bride" for Sargeras himself. So, yeah. Azshara is a pretty big deal. She is regarded as stronger than Aegwynn herself, who beat the Avatar of Sargeras. @Anshlunn There is someone on my serv who pointed out that "King of Diamonds" could be related of tarot cards. The "king of Diamonds" in tarot is a young, blond, loyal and brave man. So, it could totally relate to Anduin Wrynn too. While this is far fetched, i thought it could be a very good lead. Or at least, an intersting one for theories.
Seems like they're planning something huge and sinister... sounds like a lot of characters are gonna die
Tyrande's quote, already live: "In my lifetime, I have twice witnessed a sundering of the world. Mother Moon, I pray I do not see a third."It seems they deliberately make us delve into contradicting speculations. And I don't mean the Old Gods of Azeroth.
I don't see Alleria actually dying or going evil considering they just brought her back after ~20 years and she's the leader of a brand new race. The first two she was talking about weren't real deaths either.Remember guys, the audio drama revealed that the Void doesn't care if something is actually true or not, to them everything is true. That means absolutely nothing could happen.
The end of that sunwell visit dialogue strongly indicates that the nightfallen joining the horde. My gut feeling tells me it will be the last step of the nightfallen unlock questline (and likely the void elf unlock questline as well, for alliance players). With the levelling changes in 7.3.5, and how the first four allied races are on the BfA site separate from the last two, I expect those race unlocks to become available immediately with a BfA preorder (or when 7.3.5 drops, which ever is later).
I love how Alleria gets all salty and triggered. Definitely an embarrassing moment for her. She can't play the victim card and be all mad and arrogant. Like Lorthemar said intentional or not her presence poses a danger. People fear what they don't understand and they almost lost the sunwell. The anger is justified. Also this event was the final push Thalyssra needed to join the horde. Alleria sees the results of her actions which is why she "tenses defiantly" after the Nightborne pledge their allegiance. Seems Lorthemar showing backbone works out for the horde yet again.Unfortunately for Alleria she didn't even bother to ask why the blood elves have no interest in joining the alliance. It goes all way back to Grand Marshal Garithos and the purge in dalaran. No way they would believe third time is the charm. What Alleria will take from this experience is bitterness. Instead of asking why the blood elves don't want to join she immediately resorts to insinuating things such as Lorthemar being a mouthpiece for sylvanas, great attempt at diplomacy. Props to Lorthemar for asking simple questions regarding the void and displaying class and respect until her presence threatened the sunwell that is. "No matter what she has become she is a daughter of Quel'Thalas". Bet Alleria won't remember he said that lol
"The lord of ravens will turn the key."I think Khadgar will be the one who removes the sword from silithus. Sargeras' blade had some sort of red energy which i think keeps the void away or something. Khadgar removing the sword opens a way for the void to crawl in. He will think it's the right thing to do not knowing that sargeras only wanted to keep the void away. Of course i'm probably wrong and it's something totally different, but hey, you never know.
Still a little miffed at the Nightborne joining the Horde, especially after the Alliance worked side-by-side with them to take down the Grand Magistrix, but what's done is done.Personally I'm with Alleria here. Lor'themar insulted King Anduin first, which was an inhospitable act especially in front of guests. Alleria's tete-a-tete with him was sparked from that. But that's Blood Elves for you, believing that they're better than everyone else.
I'm pretty sure now that the "third death" is Azeroth's. Like Tyrande said, there was already 2 sundering, and now a giant demonic mother*!@#ing blade through the planet's core ? "Guess i'll die ?"
