Realistically, the primary mistake Blizzard made was releasing Shadowlands when they did. We began the final raid of BfA in January 2020. Blizzard tried to push out Shadowlands in October of the same year but pushed it back to November. this made Nyalotha a pretty short "end of expansion" raid. In my opinion, the numbers they would have lost by extending BfA 2 more months to January would have been more optimal over the losses they've suffered from people waiting between 9.0 and 9.1.If they had done this, 9.1 would still have the same release date, but we'd have been in 9.0-9.0.5 for only 5 months at this point in time. The best part is that if they pushed Shadowlands to January 2021 then they would have missed the player upset about the game coming out so close to the US holiday Thanksgiving... they would have missed the player upset about mythic race to world first Nathria being so close to Christmas... they would have missed the player upset of Nathria in retail and Nax in classic being so close to one another.
What the @#$% would you know about that? There's a difference about working on a quality patch vs garbage on a 2 week schedule. Shut up and let them fix the game. I don't care how long it takes as long as it's good.
Calm down . Did I allude to any of that in my post? People will and have unsubbed from the game because of the lack of content. It's that simple.
What's the point of an making an rng based pvp talent? Nobody will pick it if it just hits random locations. If those shadow bolts would follow random targets or target a nearby enemy's current location then it could be used for setting up CCs but shadow priest already has a strong toolkit for that purpose.I'm not saying that everything is wrong that they are doing but instead of wasting developer hours on placeholders they could actually ask around in the community for feedback if they lack ideas.
Its insane how people, still defend a company, that doesnt give a single f**k about them, has 0 transparency about the patch's release, happily takes their money for an unfinished product, makes stupid unnecessary systems, that only make the game harder to balance, instead of making more dungeons, raids etc. I really liked this expansion in th first months. It was just a nice simple experience, you had a nice gearing progress, doing raids and dungeons every week, it was exactly, what a WoW player would want. And because of covenants, soulbinds, legendaries, conduits, covenant legendaries, now f**cking domination gems, sockets, legendary weapons, they have to balance everything, which doesnt matter at all, because there will be still conduits, legendaries that you will never see, and covenants that you will never see for certain classes, because the other ones are way better. And I am 100% sure that they are understaffed. Just communicate with us Blizzard, say anything, talk to your costumers, because its important for a lot of people. I am with the people that say it can take longer, because they want a polished product, but ffs say anything. At the Ion Preach interview, when Ion said, that they need time, because they want to make us a good game, I felt happy and relieved, but that was 2 months ago. Nothing since then. Its just sad, that they treat customers like this. And people that are defending this, must have 0 self esteem or something, i dont know what goes through their heads.
People who say "unsub if you don't like it"... it's true but not the best and the easiest solution at the same time. Players have invested their time and effort playing this game, and that's what MMORPG genre generally is. A lot of people who has been playing WoW since the beginning of the era has invested so much of their time to develop their character and the community to these days. Throwing that away is hard thing to do especially when people are emotionally attached to it. It's just not that simple. Not to mention we're paying for their services. You would expect something in return, such as new contents, system, story development, etc. If we're not getting our money worth and it keeps stagnating then we, as customers, have all the right to complain
Just because you pay a monthly sub doesn't mean you are ENTITLED to know when new content is coming. You are paying for access to the servers. You've already purchased the expansion. it sucks it's taking this long and that Blizz is literally ignoring the playerbase request for a timeframe but at the end of the day it's up to you if the monthly fee for server access is worth it. Otherwise just unsub and move on with your life or do whatever Bellular tells you to do... lord knows there are a ton of people eating up his BS and spitting it back up on the forums lately.

Must had been really tiring week for devs with those 4 changes.
