Horde and Alliance assaults against the Twilight's Hammer have slaughtered many of the cult's fearsome elemental ascendants. One exception is Arcurion, a formidable ice ascendant tasked to slay Thrall and retrieve the Dragon Soul. Should this twisted elemental being succeed, nothing will be able to stop Deathwing from ushering in the Hour of Twilight.
Former blade-for-hire Asira Sunbright was initially leery of working for the Twilight's Hammer, but the cult's generous payments quickly won her over. In time, she succumbed to the corruptive influence of her dark employers, even going so far as to take on the name Dawnslayer. As one of the cult's deadliest assassins, Asira has been called upon to exterminate Thrall and his comrades.
Archbishop Benedictus is the revered leader of the Church of the Holy Light. For years, his wise guidance has been instrumental in seeing humanity through bleak times. Yet beneath his apparent benevolence lies the shocking truth that Benedictus has pledged himself to the eradication of all life on Azeroth through the agency of his dark master... Deathwing.
Though once vast in number, only a few dozen twilight dragons now remain. Astride these hardened survivors are the last vestiges of the Twilight's Hammer army: the elite drake riders of Deathwing's personal escort. Led by the insidious Warmaster Blackhorn, they move with unholy purpose, driven to protect their dark master.
Congratulations to the winners (I hate you)! While I haven't played the Hour of Twilight myself, I had a couple of friends who played it and enjoyed it immensely - of course, the increases difficulty may have contributed to that. Also: I lol'd at the Well of Eternity Night Elf-form, for some reason I don't want to be turned into a Night Elf lol.And re; Warmaster Blackhorn: while he seems decent enough, I would have preferred the name "I told yer landlubbers I'd have to improvise" over "Looks like I'm doing this myself" for phase 2, but that's just me.
Regarding dropping/re-queueing, I'm not sure we'll see that as much for a few reasons.1) If you want easy and guaranteed VP, you can random queue for the 4.0/4.1 dungeons instead of the 4.3 dungeons. You'll also get the same amount of VP.2) If you want the higher ilvl loot from the 4.3 dungeons, you can do a specific queue instead, and get just the dungeon you want. While I'm sure there will be at least some instant drops like HoR, I don't think it will be as bad. I'm betting most who show up for Hour of Twilight will actually want it.
Seems Raid Finder is broken, nothing happens when I press Find Raid.
Hmm.. the warlord blackthorn seems like a new Beth'tilac fight:) I'm not sayin (or whining) that blizzard is reusing old content because i like beth'tilac and i haven't seen this fight yet. Phase 13 waves of drakes + riders wich you have to kill. Dreadblades and slayers need to have a taunt rotation. And sappers are prio to kill. Your raid will need to stack up for as long as you can take the split dmg (70k +?) and then let the ship soak some. Phase 2Tanks need to wait for the shokwave to taunt off of each other. Pop cooldown at the end of the phase because you can't sustain the armor reduktion + vengance for long :D
I recognize a couple of the winners. Gratz to them.
