What is the point of the talent system for WW if they cannot spec into reasonable ST. I thought the whole point of this system was so that you had the tools to be versatile and blizzard could nerf/buff specs in one scenario without making them broken in another. In the past WW could not be buffed in raid because it would make them too strong in M+. Now I'm not sure what the reason is.
.
wait 1 week than you see the buff´s from hunter becouse the logs are 2 week´s and the buff from hunter is 1 week out
jesus when are they going to give moonkin some level of a damage buff....their ST is trash outside of initial burst....and their AOE is being overtaken by other classes....they lack in both areas now.
I kind of hate these "rankings". They do more harm than help. By looking at the stupid "95 percentile overall mythic raid" as the main gauge to measure specs' performance and whether it needs any adjustments. This is so very wrong and dooms many specs to be broken forever. When you fall into that category where your spec looks good on this first chart you are not getting any attention whatsoever. Take a look at devastation - this is an ugly spec to actually play which lacks both raw numbers and gameplay mechanics when you look deeper.1) Single target damage is trash level, only the monk is worse than devastation(unless it's a dance-fest fight, then it'd be other way around). All the other classes have got a spec that's above devastation there. Take a look at terros logs ALL "percentiles" and all the difficulties and you will see.2) Movement penalty on dps is DISGUSTING, this class is such a stationary cannon and 25yd range on top of that means you're using hover to catch up to things as well, and outside of hover you're doing almost no damage on the run. It can't be BOTH - "turret" and half the range of all the other ranged classes. Yet it is. For some stupid reason blizzard thought it's a good idea to slap a handicap on a class with no benefits in return - Just imagine a melee class that runs at 60% of normal speed, but once a 35sec you can run at 100% speed for a few sec. And this said class damage would be mediocre at best. Fun and FAIR, eh?3) Class mastery favors elite groups A LOT. This stupid "reverse execute" favors fast kills more than any other dps, the longer a fight takes the more devastation evoker falls on overall damage. We all stack mastery to absurd levels like 90% or more, but all that mastery becomes nothing at the end of a fight. Where things go south unless you're playing an elite group on a farm content - people die, survivability is stressed, fight mechanics gets worse, cooldowns are depleted, you're forced to heal yourself a lot - and at that crucial time or raid agony your evoker is playing against you. WHO on their right mind thought this "reverse execute" would be a fantastic idea? Show me that guy so I can slap his face. This also adds the motivation to switch to a higher HP target early rather than kill off one, which hurts the team in many cases -- HORRIBLE game design.4) Timing of +30% haste buff has way too much impact on overall evoker DPS. If you combine hero/lust/etc with dragonrage you can extend dragonrage one or two extra rounds, which means if your raid leader calls "nah we dont hero on pull we keep it for phase-x to help the healers" - you're screwed a lot more than other dps classes. Remove dragonrage extension completely and re-balance overall dps with that change, this is an ugly gameplay mechanic.5) In mythinc+ we are forced to run a spec which makes our bad single target dps even worse, or we won't be doing any remotely passable aoe. Also constant moving in m+ and outrange is a plague for our damage - you all know shadowmoon burial grounds, imagine, you run out of range on 1st and last bosses all the time -- yes, even at that tiny arena on the 1st boss, this is how limited 25yd is. Aoe damage is mediocre at best in M+ as well, outside of deep breath, tip the scales->firebreath and 20x charged blast combo you are doing crap for aoe, nothing like other classes can do when specced, geared and played equally. Devastation is "b-tier" in M+ for a good reason. Damage IS low and utility tricks aren't enough to make up for raw power output lack.6) The stupid egg-staff from diurna. Is basically a crutch for single target dps that should not exist. Unless you raid a lot or you're fiendishly lucky to get one from a weekly quest, you're missing a good 1.5-3k dps. And that staff itself follows the same ugly class pattern - 4.5 sec of turret channeled cast - oh come on give me a break WHY it has to be such a turret in everything?7) Skill ceiling is so high, all my friends who've tried to play competitive m+ or raiding on devastation evoker are frustrated. Never in my life have I spent so much time doing math and research to squeeze every last bit of damage out of my game character, only to watch other half-assed players beat me easily, and i've played many classes seriously since vanilla WoW. There is no reward for reaching this high ceiling, unless everything is staged in your favor, you'd be better off with nearly any other spec.8) The spec is STILL plagued with bugs, like eternity surge won't finish a rank-1 cast on a single tap some times and you need to manually hold the key over one charge and waste so much precious time on that. Or disintegrate fails to cast even though you've got enough essence for it, can't believe this bug is still in the game. And dont let me start on how clunky and dangerous( in M+ especially) deep breath "flight" is.9) Of course devastation is "padding" the meters on diurna, because single target damage is so low, you'd rather put better classes on boss and leave devastation to mop up the trash which is never a threat on this fight anyways.Okay that should be enough. Y'all can get back to discussing BM-vs-MM hunters i guess. I wish I had the luxury of multiple DPS specs to choose from.
havoc keeps falling each week smh
Buff assassination rogues.
Dragonflight: The fall of warlock.
From this discussion there is clear one solution for majority of people problems:Remove BM hunter from the game. Add an ability to have a cosmetic second pet for other hunter specs for this UwU kawaii collector experience. It'll achieve two things: a big group of people will stop feeling oppressed because they are only the best in ST and do mediocre AoE (clearly it's the only spec that have this problem, right? :)), and clear out any discussion about class tuning in general.
As someone pointed out, this data is over a range of two weeks. The buffs went live on February 7, so some of the data do not include the effects from the buffs. If Blizzard addressed Hunter's' weak survivability, I'm willing to bet that Hunters' positions in these rankings would go up somewhat, because dead DPS don't DPS.I think Blizzard needs to remove the special ability from the Rasz bow and put it on the Hunter Class tree.
So the single target #1 of BM here is with Razs bow? Thats dumb there are such strong items, where is BM without the bow?I am curious cause my main is BM and im using a crafted bow, guess single target with it is at best mediocre?I dont really like callign soemthing season in wow, whats the point of declaring the time between content patches "a season", wow does not need that, the mmo with seasons are most time f2p and sell a pass per season, but here we are sub all the time.
