I'll hold of judgement, see if they at least buff the damage to other abilities, but I was one that only ever applied it to bosses and mobs that needed to be focused down, for AoE? I was using Multi-shot and then trick shot powered Aimed.I'd almost like to see the damage return as a talent (improved HM) or it be baked in to some other skills, or say like you cast 3+ steady shots on ONE target, you get a window of HM for better damage, using multi-shot would provide such to all mobs hit.To me it is a spell that need at least some use in both PvE and PvP, but maybe in one it should not be required to be applied, at GCD cost, to every mob for maximum benefit.
This is a good change for hunters. One less useless button to worry about
It was already terrible especially in M+. If anything this is a boost all around with not having to juggle it around on trash or having premarked something to maximize uptime just to have tank cc that mob or pull something different and incurring the cd/GCD. Good change
I am very very thankful for the Hunter's Mark change. :)
Meanwhile, Unholy DKs are nervously waiting
Oh my god this is huge, thank you so much, hunters mark felt horrible to play as a damage component. <3
The hunter's mark change is very much appreciated
Why oh Why Blizzard, do you gives us hunters first Hunter's Mark as baseline back, with a nice dmg increase (even if it is ST), and then remove that part to make HM more useless in PVE? Then remove the whole ability instead....And before I gets replies etc...if HM was only OFF the CD, then it would have been easier to implement it in a macro, which would be easy with target swapping, back in the days when HM was a normal thing to have, I had macros, I still have those old macros, I missed having HM, I was happy to know that we got it back, but then because of CD and being it in GCD, you couldn't put it in a macro (I tested it on Beta), now they took that CD off, but the ability is useless now...
Thank god revive pet cast is being lowered again.
