Where are the "Epic" Ending cinematics, like the Lich King or Legion? zzzZZZzzz
Just as a refresher, this was Cata's ending.
You don't post the spoilers, in the title of the spoilers, it isn't that hard to just call it raid epilogue dialogue or something, you make the picture spoilers but ruin it with the title
This is just the worst. The power of friendship.. Is this still Warcraft? I get that they didn't want to leave an open ending that would be resolved in 4 expansions from now, but &*!@ing hell, at least make one of them die or something.
I admire the Spoiler PNG image with.... a spoiler article titleNever change, wowhead writers
Happy soy family
Only thing that matters here to me is that Nozdormu is still the aspect. No Chromie BS. Overused meme characters like Chromie can stay on the sidelines. Also, glad that proto-drakes can now be seen as proper dragons; I've always liked them since WotLK, even if they look dumb as hell now with all these silly horns and spikes that were needlessly added. Can't say I'm thrilled about Vyranoth being the aspect in that regard, what with her being boring as all hell, but I guess Blizzard wanted an even balance of male and female aspects. Meanwhile, the good twilight and void dragons Wrathion rescued are forgotten plot points. RIP them. That said however, Alexstrazsa's makeup continues to look gaudy as hell.
Surprising people were expecting a good story. I tempered my expectations of the lore team a decade ago when MoP was announced and they cemented Thrall as green Jesus. Would highly recommend everyone just download add ons to auto skip cutscenes and quest text makes the game a lot more bearable to play.
This is so bad, my god!Did blizzard turn into disney now?Where is the rock music and orcs fighting to the death at?
boring
FU for including a spoiler before you even get to click on the post. Bad form. To quote El Presidente, "Come on, man!"
I don't understand how people still have these huge expectations for raid end boss defeat cinematics. They are never going to get anywhere near the level of Legion's again anytime soon, get it through your heads please after half a dozen years. Why not? Legion was able to cash in on over a decade of established lore to get its earned narrative payoffs. Heck, nighthold ending cinematic cashed in on warcraft III, like twenty five years old at that point, with the skull of Guldan callback. Velen with Kiljaeden ending movie cashed in on us knowing the plight of the draenei since TBC. Etc etc. Antorus gave us Sargeras, the ultimate WoW villain, finally realized in the game. Those kinds of climaxes to raids just can't be done with newly established lore yet. That's why this is and the previous one are good enough cinematics in that they set up the characters for future payoffs. Could they be cooler? Certainly. Are they a bit care-beary? Undoubtedly. But they just fit the main theme of the expansion then. If you don't like that theme, we heard you the first hundred times you whined about it over the last year...Edited to correct typo
Pretty boring ngl, looks cheap af. Don't they have the budget to hire decent devs? I've seen some people saying there's been bunch of lore. What? Have we been playing the same game? We had 3 random patches, with so little content, some random public events, recycled content as always and guess what, WE'RE GETTING FATED SEASON AGAIN. There's no real grind anymore, everything is easily obtainable. We're getting so little for our money and time investments. They introduced the Iridikron only to disappear like dust in the wind, and wait a moment, will they bring him into the next expansion? I'm not alone when i say this, this expansion brought nothing real, except for dragon riding.
That set of lines starting with Kalecgos talking about being united like a family... I'm sorry, but no. How are we not supposed to make Fast & Furious jokes, or say that WoW is being Disney-fied, after lines like this?
