the hourglass on the side is sooo cool
Infinite Dragonflight conversion moment?
Okay, a scythe that 'eats your time' when you get hit by it sounds freakin' awesome. Gimme an Equip effect that says something like 'Gain 0.1% haste for each % the target is missing', or 'Critical melee hits leech haste, granting you # haste and deal additional arcane damage for X seconds. This effect can stack, but additional stacks do not refresh the duration'.
Now i'm picturing Nozdormu going around the multiverse, hacking down alternate timelines like wheat in a field.
That is one immaculate design. Haven't seen a weapon that good since Legion.
I can’t wait to defeat him as a boss to try to get that scythe.
Remember that even if we fight and defeat Nozdormu/Murozond, we won't be actually killing him. His death is during the End Time dungeon during Cataclysm- so he has to escape back in time to then. We'll still get plenty of loot though- remember that Jaina, Sylvanas, and Anduin have all been raid bosses (even final raid bosses) that we defeat but don't kill.
I'm betting this is tied to the Mega-Dungeon in the 10.1.5 patch, which I am BETTING is the hunt through time for the Discs of Tyr to bring back to life.
As far as I can see it, the sand might be moving inside the scythe, depending on what angle. So it will be probably physics based, which would be awesome.
interesting.
They forgot the scythe of frost lord ahune
Wonder if this is the rare "2H agi staff" that was datamined for the loot table.
"The choice of a scythe is particularly interesting as it tends to be a rather rare weapon type in World of Warcraft. However, the scythes that do exist tend to be more notable weapons including the Balance Druid Artifact weapon, the Scythe of Elune, or the Scythe of the Unmaker wielded by the corrupted World-Soul Argus."Affliction Warlock Artifact weapon: "Am I a joke to you?"
Uhhh, we've had a craftable Scythe model (albeit a Polearm, not a Staff) since Cataclysm, the Witch-Hunter's Harvester. Notable for the fact it is a Polearm, so usable by all the Plate wearers. And it got a re-colour in Warlords of Draenor too: Spooky Scythe, from the Spires of Arak rarespawn, Nas Dunberlin.
Makes sense, Just about every iteration of Father Time he's seen wielding a scythe as time cuts down men, beasts, and even entire continents.
There is another probably important scythe, the one from Zovaal.
I want a full set of time walker armour. I've got a belt, a scythe would be nice, but I want moore
