Hey, guys. I've been so busy since last week studying for finals that I haven't had any time to post blogging entries. Now that school is almost over, I'll have a little more time to post entries and keep you excited users busy!
Anyway, moving on...
I've been playing World of Warcraft for over three years. That's three summer vacations I've been through since I started playing. Considering I have two parents who work full time, I usually spend about three days a week home alone. With very little things to do while my parents are at work, what I usually end up doing is playing World of Warcraft.
This year, I've really been thinking about what I want to do this summer. I have to admit that playing WoW everyday, while fun, is not productive. For me, I spent a good portion of the summer last year playing WoW and, looking back, I wish I hadn't. Granted, I went on vacation with my parents in July and spend some days hanging out with friends, but when I wasn't doing anything else, I was playing WoW. It wasn't because I was an addict who was out of control or anything, but it was just because I had nothing else to do.
Instead of playing WoW everyday this summer, I really want to do something else instead—something that's productive. I don't want to abandon World of Warcraft altogether, but I want to have something else to do for when I'm bored. World of Warcraft should be a last resort for when I have nothing else to do, not a first resort.
For those of who are attending school,
what do you during summer vacation?
Do you do something productive that you're proud of, or do you waste time playing video/computers games like I've done in the past?
