Progress in Diablo 4's Hunt for the Cow Level - New Relics Found

The bovine conundrum continues in Diablo 4's search for the secret cow level, but progress has been made - the new relics in Vessel of Hatred have been discovered, and the
Berdica Arrugginita
has been earned!
The
D4 - Not Finding a Cow Level
discord server has officially discovered the method of obtaining the Diablo 3 related relics that were theorized to link to the next step of the Cow Level puzzle, and players such as Cyri and Voidstar made critical discoveries to help the process along. Below you can find the discoveries made by the discord - read on to bring your cow lore up to date.
Lord Uacax Scrolls
Keen-eyed players found several Scrolls of Uacax in the Kurast Docks, Samuk, and Kichuk. These three scrolls gave different clues to players as to what must be done to obtain each relic:
Although Lord Uacax was an orphan, he held great respect for his ancestors. Before embarking on his quest he honored them thrice. He returned with the riches of the earth.
A cunning beast terrorized the plains. Though Lord Uacax was untrained in combat he hunted and defeated this foe. He claimed the beast's weapon as his trophy.
On the day of his accession Lord Uacax followed the morning birds and they honored him with their song. He adopted their image as his crest.
Even more interesting, we discovered that Uacax itself is a hidden message - Lord Uaxac roughly translates to 'Lord Cow' in Yucatec Maya!
From there, the Secret Cow Level Discord was able to use these clues to lead to the three new Relics, how to corrupt them, and eventually gain the
Berdica Arrugginita
.
Gemma Farfugliante
The
Gemma Farfugliante
is a fairly quick grab - players will simply need to emote "Thank" in front of three separate statues to the southwest of the Kurast Docks.

Referenced by the Reverence scroll, players will need to show respect to the ancestral statues, similar to side quests in the past such as Keeping the Old Traditions.
Bastone Sghembo
One of the more difficult clues to understand, players must defeat the Elite Blood Lightning to the east of The Den in The Great Shelf.
The trick, however, is that you can't just beat up this fierce Lacuni and walk away with a relic - you have to completely reset your skills, abilities, and dismiss your Mercenary, using only the basic
Attacco
skill known by characters at level 1. The Triumph scroll alludes to this, indicating that "untrained in combat" was the key to this step.
Vecchia Campana Arrugginita
The final relic is one found by speed - players must run across the Five Hills subzone, visiting 12 different bird statues, before the bell will appear as a drop at the last statue (some users mention having to return to the first statue as well).

The Accession scroll heavily hinted at this puzzle, linking the birds' song with the musical bell. With this final relic, players can then proceed to corrupt them all - and gain a key that will lead to the Bardiche.

To corrupt the three relics, players will need to find three
Cordycepic Zombies
north of Ichorfall. Finding all three and dragging them together, then killing them, will spawn a patch of black mushrooms - similar to the patch of Black Mushrooms needed to craft the Staff of Herding in Diablo 3. This patch of mushrooms is key to corrupting the relics, and all three must be dropped into the mushroom patch. Once corrupted, they will then glow with a purple smoke animation, indicating you've completed the step.
With corrupted relics in tow, players should head to the Oka'bo Temple southeast of the Kurast Bazaar. There, you can offer the three corrupted relics to three braziers at the entrance to the temple, lighting each brazier with an offering, to receive the
Chiave Insolita
.
Finally, the
Chiave Insolita
can be brought to the
Forlorn Burrow,
a cellar west of the Kurast Bazaar. Within, an otherwise normal cellar will reveal a breakable wall, behind which, you guessed it - are cows.
Much like obtaining the
Pozione del Vigore
, slaying all cows in this hidden chamber rewards you with the
Berdica Arrugginita
, and one more step in the mystery of the cow level unlocked.
Once again, the
