No Nerfs Planned For Season 2, Diablo 4 Devs Say

Diablo 4's Game Director Joe Shely stated that the development team has no intentions to "nerf the fun" in Season 2. Patch 1.2.0, which released with the start of Season of Blood last week. Season 2 has introduced a plethora of well-received changes based on community feedback.

Game Director Joe Shely posted on Twitter that the development team is happy to see the community enjoying the recent content update and assured them that no nerfs are planned at the moment:
This statement goes in line with massive buffs to experience gain and endgame power acquisition introduced with Patch 1.2.0. Players can now
level up to 40% faster
in Diablo 4 and
even target-farm the ever-so-rare Uber Unique items
in Season of Blood. There have also been a couple of powerful class build outliers like the Ball Lightning Sorcerer, which is the hottest flavor of the month among virtually all Sorcerer players who have endured playing the weakest class by far since Diablo 4's launch.
