The Engineering Battle Rez Item (
Sfasatore Temporale Instabile
) was used by many groups in Battle for Azeroth when they didn't have a class that could Battle Rez. However, it looks like the Engineering Battle Rez will be removed in Shadowlands, meaning you'll need to have a Death Knight, Druid or Warlock if you want to have access to a Brez.
Check out all the Class Utility consumables that are being removed or changed in Shadowlands.

Engi Brez in Shadowlands
Just like the
Raid Buff Scrolls
, the
Sfasatore Temporale Instabile
has been level capped at 50 in Shadowlands. This means that once you start leveling, you will no longer be able to use it.
Sfasatore Temporale Instabile
: Use: Reverses the flow of time on a target that recently died, restoring them to life with 60% health and 20% mana. Castable in combat. Chance to backfire, fast forwarding the flow of time on a target resulting in a loss of vitality. Cannot be used by players higher than level 50. (10 Min Cooldown)
Shadowlands Engineering currently doesn't have a replacement item for the
Sfasatore Temporale Instabile
which means that players will have no access to a Brez outside of the Druid, Death Knight and Warlock classes in level 60 content.
Conclusion and Opinions
Especially in Mythic+, this means that if players want to have a Brez, you will need to have a Death Knight, Druid or Warlock in your group. This seems to be a Shadowlands trend with the removal of
Buff Scrolls
, keeping the Raid Debuffs
Marchio del Caos
and
Tocco Mistico
and nerfing Drums to 15% (down from 25%).
If you want a Brez, you have to choose a Death Knight, Druid or Warlock
If you want 5% Stamina, you bring a Priest
If you want 5% Attack Power, you bring a Warrior
If you want 5% Intellect, you bring a Mage
If you want 5% Magic Damage, you bring a Demon Hunter
If you want 5% Physical Damage, you bring a Monk
If you want Lust, you bring a Mage, Hunter or Shaman
It does look like Blizzard are moving away from homogenization and emphasizing class utility. I could keep the list going between Warlock gateway and healthstones, Enhancement's Windfury, Immunities and so on, but the above list encompasses flat damage increases on a base level and you'll need to compare that versus other utility that other classes want to bring. In Mythic+, you'll have to weigh the flat damage buffs versus Covenant choice as well with the
Covenant Dungeon Bonuses
, in addition to other class utility and more! There's a whole number of factors and Shadowlands seems to add more factors into the mix.
There's a lot going on here, and it seems like Blizzard is really focusing on class utility, in the hopes that each class can hopefully have a way to shine when they're brought to a group. However, in the end the
Sfasatore Temporale Instabile
will likely be missed by the community, just like
Pilone d'Individuazione Fallimenti
s being removed at the beginning of Battle for Azeroth as I know some Engineers were excited when they got to show off and use their Engi Rez on a boss fight. We'll have to see how the removal of Engi Rez affects class diversity in both Raid and Mythic+. It's likely that raid will not be affected as much, but Mythic+ compositions will probably always have at least one Brez class now because of this change.
