Tickets usually go fast, so if you want to attend this year’s show, it pays to be prepared. You’ll need to provide all of the required info below before you can attempt to get tickets, so having this info handy will help you get through the process quickly. Also consider creating a Universe account ahead of time, and log in just prior to the sale to help expedite the process.
What Information You’ll Need to Provide
You’ll want to have the following information handy when you’re buying BlizzCon tickets:
- Your information: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Character name (optional)
- Credit card information: Including credit card number, expiration date, and CCV number. You may also want to reach out to your credit card company ahead of time to let them know you’re planning to make this purchase.
- Your friends’/family’s information: First name, last name, email address, and optional character name for each attendee—note that you’ll be able to go back and change these until July 15. It’s OK to put your own name and email for each ticket for now.

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: When ticket sales begin, head to the Universe ticketing page and select the Buy Tickets button. Consider creating a Universe account prior to ticket sales and logging in ahead of time to purchase to expedite the process.
Step 2: Select the quantity of tickets you’d like to buy from the pull-down menu. There’s a 4-ticket-per-household limit, and the default quantity is one ticket.
Step 3: Fill out all the required fields (First Name, Last Name, Email) for each ticket you purchased. If you are unsure of who is attending, please enter your own details for now (and remember to change them later).
Step 4: Fill out the required credit card info, including the credit card number, expiration date, and CCV.
Step 5: Select Confirm Booking.
IMPORTANT! Ticket availability is determined at the time you select Confirm Booking (after you’ve provided all of the required information and completed steps 1–4).
Step 6: If tickets are available, you will receive a “ticket booked” notice along with a confirmation email.
*NEW FOR 2016* Emails containing bar codes to claim badges will be sent closer to BlizzCon, not immediately after purchase. All tickets will be sent to both the purchaser’s email address as well as the email address assigned to a ticket.
