Dropped by Ahone the Wanderer (a rare elite in Kun-Lai)
When used sets up a small firework rocket launcher giving you a few seconds display of fireworks.

Probably going to be my favorite vanity item. The firework display looks amazing.

Can anyone report if these have been dropped on Live? 7 kills without seeing them.

UPDATE: Ok. After 9 kills she finally dropped the Fireworks. I will post my time table to that it might help others track her spawns. ~~After formatting it should be easy to read.~~
It won't let me format with spaces. New to posting wowhead so I'll try to clean it up later with some code.

Not sure what the droprate is, but it took quite a bit to get it. I will also note a few weird things:

1) Sometimes for some odd reason you are in a different phase and she could be up but you won't see her. Not sure if this is a glitch. I have not completed any of the phasing in Kun Lai for Shado Pan Monastery so that could be a possibility. When my timer went up and I waited for a while only to have her never spawn I backed up all the way out into the field in front of the entrance to the monastery and logged off. I cleared my cache if it was not already cleared and then re-logged. When I climbed back up the mountain to her she was there. The entire process took less then 30 seconds as I have my cache shortcutted. It may have something to do with it or I may have been bugged into an odd phase.

Something to keep note of, anyways.

2) As a Death Knight, Unholy Spec, my ghoul was able to Gnaw and interrupt her Spinning Crane Kick or her Heals. I just let him do it whenever he saw fit but you could control it too.

As far as vanity items go this is one of my favorite. Evenmoreso because of how hard I worked to get it. It'll be great for raids, achievements, or any other celebration. Have fun with Ahone. She is a great Rare to fight. And take heart to her strategy because its template is copied for at least 2 other rares (Ghostpaw and Yul Wildpaw?).

I saw her and she was phased. I was upset. Had a friend who was able to attack her, kill her and allowed me to Need roll on the Launcher. First kill for me on her, and i got the launcher.

Just had this drop off of Ahune the Wanderer.

It is a quite impressive display. Even with the long cooldown, it blows all other fireworks out of the water.

Something interesting to note is that currently it will face opposite the way you are facing when you set it up.

This item doesn't work in the water. The launcher does indeed appear but no fireworks are launched.

Prior to 5.1 you could stand on this, effectively giving a small boost to climb and reach things. But no longer :(

Can anyone confirm a recent drop please. Been farming her since I learnt of the toy box - lost count of the kills - and no drop for me. I know its just bad RNG luck but I want to know that it still drops.

This item cannot be sold to a vendor and, interestingly enough, if destroyed, it does not appear in "Item restoration" list (a feature by Blizzard to get back sold/deleted by accident items).
Really strange.. o_O

Ahone spawns at 40.8, 42.6 in Kun-Lai Summit (just to the right side of the Shado-Pan Monastery.

Finally looted it this morning on my first kill for the day. Took in total 46 kills (tracked with rarity, added it in myself).
Her spawn times varied between 50 minutes to 1 hour 30 max most days.
GL to everyone else farming this for the Toy Box

Toy still drops, got it after maybe 30 kills.

Dropped after 21 kills (reported by rarity) in a few days. Respawn time confirmed between 40 min and 1 hour.

Spawn rate was 3 x 45 min 1 x 1 h 10 min, and 2 x 45 min
Straight camping.
