I got this today on my feral druid. I basically carefully snuck down the path into the cave and then dashed to the chest and popped it open right before i got ported out. I don't know if there's a way around the nightmare port thing, but thats how I did it.

This chest can be found in Val'sharah at the bottom of the Tangled Cleft cave, coords 53.2,38.0

Avoid the red trails on the ground from mobs as they will unstealth you and cause damage. The chest is located at the bottom of the cave on a small pedestal of stone and is pretty easy to spot.

You only have a few seconds to grab the chest. So be fast because you will be ported out with game system messages warning you: "The Nightmare beings to take you!" and then will port you out in front of the Dark Thicket instance dungeon.

I recommend using stealth or stealth potions to make your way down the cave and just avoid the mobs in the tunnel. Once you get to the bottom of the cave use speed potions or any cool downs that increase your movement speed so you can zoom past any of the final mobs.

Did it on warrior using Balzo Eroico to land at chest, to be clear of mobs so opening it wasn't interrupted.

Did it as a BM hunter, just mounted up, ran until I got knocked off my mount, then used Disengage (with Posthaste talented) ran to chest, quick feign death to lose mobs and looted. The box opened the very second I got kicked out of there. Took a couple of tries but it works. I guess another method that might work is switching to MM and using camouflage, though I haven't actually tried it this way.

If you're on a class with poor mobility (I did it on a DK) here's what I found worked:

- Kill your way down the tunnel, ignoring the Elite which won't aggro.
- If you get the warning "The Nightmare beings to take you!" you've gone too far - run back to the tunnel and it'll go away.
- Stand at the end of the tunnel to pull and kill any mobs in the way of the chest.
- Wait for the Elite to pass and then use any kind of sprint that you have to get to and use the chest.

If you don't use it already I suggest turning on autoloot.

It took me 3 goes but it should be pretty easy with this strategy.

In 7.2 you no longer seem to be ported out from this cave. Caught me kinda unaware, as I was counting on getting teleported out.

The gold value of former AP tokens was determined by the following:
Uncommon quality (green): 10 gold
Rare quality (blue): 25 gold
Epic quality (purple): 100 gold

The amount of AP in each token didn't matter, just the quality of the token itself.
Some tokens (such as those awarded from the Class Hall quests) do not follow this formula.

Edit: All AP tokens are now gray trash items.
