Wowhead
that
Spallières du premier Satyre
is a new drop from
Xavius
.
These leather shoulders resemble Xavius's corrupted armor, and follow a tradition of loot from the last boss of a raid resembling that NPC's armor, such as
Couronne maudite de Lei Shen
,
Défenses de Mannoroth
, and
Couronne ascendante du prince démon
.
November 3rd Hotfixes: Hidden Artifact Changes, Suramar World Quests, Karazhan Fixes

Les fragments du passé
” and “
Retour à Karazhan : dans le collimateur de l’Observateur
” to Khadgar outside of
Karazhan
.
"In the Eye of the Beholder" and "The Tower of Power" should no longer fail to give players credit when defeating the final boss.
(REQUIRES RESTARTS) When returning to a partially-cleared
Karazhan
, the bosses and associated minions that had previously been defeated by the party leader should now properly be absent, and other players with different boss lockouts should be able to join without issue.
October 13th Hotfixes: PvP Balance Changes
In the latest round of Blizzard hotfixes, several class bugs have been resolved and many PvP balance changes have been hotfixed including a 10% nerf to Beast Master hunter agility in PvP.
October 12th Hotfixes: Improved Emissary Rewards
In the latest round of Blizzard hotfixes, items from Emissary rewards will now have an ilvl closer to those from World Quests. Emissary caches tended to have loot in the ilvl 805 range, which didn't feel rewarding after World Quest rewards were scaling up to ilvl 835 before Titanforged procs.
If you are suddenly interested in completing World Quests again, you can see which Emissaries are up on
Today in Broken Isles
on Wowhead's front page.
October 3rd Hotfixes: Vantus Runes in Mythic Emerald Nightmare, Mythic Il'gynoth, Keystone Timers
The latest round of hotfixes features some changes to Emerald Nightmare and Mythic+ Dungeons:
The Keystone timers for several dungeons have been adjusted.
Vantus Runes
can now be used in Mythic Emerald Nightmare.
On Mythic difficulty,
Il'gynoth
's health has been increased by 200%, but loses one-third of that value each time the
Oeil d'Il'gynoth
is defeated.
Our
Il'gynoth
and Mythic+ guides have been updated with today's hotfixes.
A common strategy for Mythic Il'gynoth involved using raid compositions that focus on maximizing burst damage to complete the encounter in a single phase. This approach removes huge portions of the encounter and can overly favor a specific set of classes and specializations, causing negative social pressures in groups that have yet to reach this encounter. These changes ensure that raid groups must enter Il'gynoth's core twice in order to complete the encounter on Mythic difficulty, but offset that change by speeding up the process of destroying the Eye to shorten the overall length of the encounter.

September 23rd Hotfixes - Major Class Tuning for Emerald Nightmare
Blizzard has posted a huge round of hotfixes after analyzing the data from the first few days of Emerald Nightmare and Season 1 PvP. As per the Developer Notes:
As we discussed last week, we’ve been gathering a massive amount of data based on how each spec has been performing in this first week of raids and Mythic Keystone dungeons, so that we can make a number of tuning changes with next week’s realm maintenance. The overall goal of these changes is to buff up some underperforming specs while also reining in a couple of over-performers, without dramatically changing anyone’s playstyle or causing them to feel as though the spec they chose to focus on became the “wrong choice.”
All of these class changes will be applied during the next scheduled weekly maintenance period in each region. Note that there are also a number of PvP-specific changes, which are noted separately below.
September 16th Hotfixes - Tank Damage and AoE Nerfs
The latest round of Legion hotfixes are up! Of particular note:
Most abilities used by Tank specializations have had their damage reduced by 10%.
Havoc and Windwalker burst AoE was proven to be too strong.
Several followers have had the effectiveness of their abilities reduced against players.
Legion foods and drinks should now restore twice as much health and mana.
Fixed an issue where PvP World Quests would occasionally reward items that were more powerful than intended for low Honor rank players.
Sept 15th Hotfixes, Class Balance Update, 7.1 PTR Dungeon/Raid Testing Plans, Honor Talents in 7.1
In the
Legion Developer Q&A
last week, Ion Hazzikostas talked about upcoming hotfixes based around endgame (raiding, etc) data and how it's tricky to tweak classes before the content is available.
In a follow-up blue post today he stated that the aim is to do a broad pass of tuning hotfixes after the first week of raiding and Mythic Keystone dungeons, to get a good sense of endgame data. However, there are some outliers which Blizzard will be addressing quite soon to reduce tank damage as well as the AoE burst of Havoc Demon Hunters and Windwalker Monks.
Other posts in today's roundup include 7.1 PTR Dungeon and Raid testing plans, as well as the reasoning why Honor Talents will no longer reset with Prestige in 7.1.
