As players spend more time in the Maw, exploring every nook and cranny, we are doing what we do best and finding short-cuts, work-arounds, and ways to make our lives easier. Here are three tips from Reddit users that you might find useful.
Whitely has pointed out that for 25 seconds after leaving Ve'nari's Refuge we are both invisible and immune to enemy attacks.
25 seconds is actually quite a bit of time, especially if you have a dash or a sprint. Make the most of it by...leading into our next tip...
Deadalious shares that there is a friendly, mountable Shadehound who sits just around the corner from Ve'nari's Refuge. You can very easily get there within 25 seconds and start your Maw Walk mounted up.
Of course you already know that if you kill Mawsworn Outriders in The Maw you can ride their mount for a bit, right? There's even an Achievement for that:
Vol véloce de molosses
. Just remember to loot them
before
you mount up.
Mountable Shadehounds certainly make traversing The Maw more efficient, but many players are finding other ways to get about, like Naethix who is traveling in style with the
Puits de gravité gnome
and a
Kit de planeur gobelin
. Of course you have to have Gnomish Engineering to use the toy, but hey, it's something. And that's not nothing.
How do you get about in The Maw? Have you come across any fun tips or items that make Maw Walking just a little bit easier or more fun? Let us know in the comments.
