Souvenir du Norfendre is one of the items required for the new heirloom ring introduced in the War Within Pre-patch:

Bague des échos radieux is the new haste/mastery heirloom ring.

Currently (during pre-patch) to obtain the item you must gather and combine 4 items:

Anneau de pierre morte - purchased from Réminisceur Armuul for 25 Souvenirs résiduels
Essence du Norfendre - obtained by combining 20x Souvenir du Norfendre, which have a chance to drop from objectives in Désolation des dragons.
Essence de Kalimdor - obtained by combining 20x Souvenir de Kalimdor , which have a chance to drop from objectives in Marécage d’Âprefange.
Essence des royaumes de l’Est - obtained by combining 20x Souvenir des royaumes de l’Est, which have a chance to drop from objectives in Gorge des Vents brûlants.

During Dragonflight, they introduced a way to get the Heirloom trinket (Confluence élémentaire instable) from it's own Pre-patch.
Because of this I would assume this will still be available during TWW, but it is yet unclear what the process will be.
I myself will be making sure to grab it during pre-patch in case they remove the capability to acquire it after TWW goes live.

If you are placing these in your warbank on one character and are unable to see them on another, it's because they are Unique (20), and a character cannot see more than 20 at a time, apparently. Split the memories in your warbank into stacks; the character you are funneling them to should then be able to see some of them.

Mailed these from one toon to another and get a mailbox error that states "You can't carry any more of these items." I have eleven in my Warband Bank and eleven in the mailbox, unable to be opened. Returned the mail to the original toon by hitting the "Return" button. Logged on to that toon, same error.

anyone know if you keep getting these after you create the bigger one or create the heirloom? hate to have these clutter up my bags, imo.

Anybody figured out a use for these after you have created the ring? Or just a case of delete it?

Anyone know why and what I can do about this message "You have to may of that item already" I only have the 20 but can't convert it to the essence, everytime I click on it I get that message
