It seems to gain 20% damage on the active per stack of influence (the passive) but you loose all the stacks

I received this trinket early on doing heroic spams and upgraded it all the way to 593 ilvl.
It states that it does about 800 - 850k dmg on the tooltip, but it does way more damage than that, especially if you get a bunch of stacks and a lot of monsters together to hit it with.
When you use it, it will radiate 3 purple circles around you about the size of a normal consecration or thunderclap or similar, it is not a channeled ability and you are free to move around and i believe even jump.
You can and should attack with your normal class abilities while it does the on use effect.
It can critical, each wave does a massive chunk of damage, seen it tick for crazy high numbers.
I have seen it deal as much as 3.2 million damage on a single usage and frequently does 1.3-2.4m , your low roll is around 700-850k.
