Confirmed. Still in the game. If it's slated for removal for some reason, it's not been taken out yet.

I can confirm this pattern is STILL available to purchase despite supposedly being marked for removal way back in patch 3.3.3 I bought this about five minutes ago.

I picked up this pattern from the auction house. Despite knowing the runecloth robe already, the pattern still popped up in 'useable items'. I can't interact with the item either. Right-clicking it does absolutely nothing, not even telling me I already know the pattern or telling me I can't use it.

Yep, was going thru the AH blowing gold on patterns I didn't have, clicked buy without really thinking about it. Didn't realize what item it taught until after I'd purchased and then went, "wait a minute...." Might try to get my gold back thru a help request, but doubt it'll happen.

Can't be used, this spell is learnt on lvl 260 from a trainer. Unless you are collection "old" useless items, don't buy it.
