New Transmog Guides for All Classes
We love transmog at Wowhead and are always looking to
create more transmog tools
. As class filters are popular in our
transmog set database
, we've launched a series of guides covering all the sets each class can use.
In these guides, you'll find all sets from raiding, PvP, dungeons, questing, and BoEs for a particular class.
We've also included sets that resemble raid tier gear, but don't require class-specific tokens, in case you want to look like a different class. For example, Monks don't have any official tier sets from Classic WoW, but they can still resemble Rogues and Druids from Molten Core.
All Transmog Sets for Death Knights
All Transmog Sets for Druids
All Transmog Sets for Hunters
All Transmog Sets for Mages
All Transmog Sets for Monks
All Transmog Sets for Paladins
All Transmog Sets for Priests
All Transmog Sets for Rogues
All Transmog Sets for Shaman
All Transmog Sets for Warlocks
All Transmog Sets for Warriors
These guides show up in search results, our Transmogrification Guides section, and are linked on relevant transmog set pages.
We still have our original series of transmog guides which organizes sets by source, and you can find them in our
Transmogrification Guides
section, as well as a
preview of all Warlords armor sets
. We also
have a guide
to how to use our transmog set database and other transmog tools on Wowhead, if you want to learn more!
Wowhead Guides on Warlords of Draenor Class Changes
Not sure what's changing for your class in Warlords? We've published a series of guides covering the changes for each class!
These articles break down what's new, changed, and removed--grouped by Talents, Glyphs, Specializations, Class Abilities, and Draenor Perks. The changes are presented in the style of the diff tool used to show spell changes for new alpha builds--green text for new, grey for removed. In addition, we've gone back to rephrase wordy spells and condense all of a spell's changes from the past month into one phrase so you can easily compare how a spell has changed from live to the latest alpha build.
These articles also include patch notes for each class as well as class-related
Blue Tweets
organized by topic and month.
When Warlords is playable, we'll be updating these articles with screenshots of cool spell effects and pictures of Tier armor, like we did for our Mists of Pandaria class articles.

Introducing Wowhead Class Guides
Class information is a crucial resource for boosted 90 players and alts. Here at Wowhead we try to build tools and present data in the best possible way to help players, and since class gameplay lends itself well to guides, we've launched a new Class Guide section!
Click here to check out our new class guides!
These guides are in the style of our popular guides written by Wowhead staff, such as our holiday and patch guides. We've asked a number of raiders and bloggers, many of which were familiar faces at WoW Insider, to write guides aimed towards beginners. We've aimed for brevity, to give you just the core facts you need to get started, without bogging you down with hugely detailed strategies.
The guides include everything you need to get started:
Spells: core abilities, rotations and priority systems, self buffs, utility, CC and more
Talents: basic builds and optimal choices for different situations
Glyphs: the most popular choices and options for different contexts

Patch 5.4: Mists of Pandaria Reputation Guides and Shaohao Guide
Patch 5.4 had many reputation changes, as well as the daunting
Emperor Shaohao
reputation to grind, so we've updated all of our popular Mists of Pandaria reputation guides! With the long weekend, it's the perfect time to finish up some rep grinds for mounts or other fun vanity items.
Of particular note:
Valor Points
gear now costs
Justice Points
, existing ilvl 458 gear is now 75% cheaper, and no gear purchasable with a currency requires reputation. You can still buy these items from quartermasters, but you don't need any reputation to do so.
Commander Lo Ping
sells all the ilvl 458 Justice Point gear, and
Commander Oxheart
sells all the ilvl 489 Justice Point gear--a little confusing since he's the Valor quartermaster.
Our
Emperor Shaohao
guide now explains the pros and cons to each rep farming area, lists all the mobs that grant reputation, and includes details on the unique vanity items for
Going To Need A Bigger Bag
that they drop.
Our
Golden Lotus
guide lists the handful of quests that haven't been removed, describes new cooking recipes in the zone, new locations for rare elites, and other changes in the Vale.

Talk Azeroth: Episode 11, Battlefield Barrens and Eternally In The Vale Removed in 5.4
Today's newspost is about prepping for 5.4--things you should be stockpiling for the patch, as well as things you might want to get done before they're removed!
Talk Azeroth
This week Olivia's taking you on a voyage into patch 5.4 as we recently found out when it was going live on servers. She tells you just exactly what you ought to be thinking of stockpiling and what you ought to be spending, and theorizing on reasons why there might not be a Valor reset with the patch.
The main topic she wants to talk to you about this week, though, is heirlooms. Olivia's got a wacky theory she wants to share on just how the personal loot system might interact with these new heirlooms.
Then she moves onto loot equality, trying to reassure LFR-only raiders that things will turn out OK, while also waxing lyrical on the reasons why these items should and shouldn't be in LFR in the first place.
Removed Content in Patch 5.4
Along with the announcement that
PvP Season 13 is ending soon
, some other content will be changing in Patch 5.4.

Site Updates: Reputation Guides, Reagents Breakdown, Transmog Filters
With the constant talk about the 5.3 PTR, we wanted to take a break and let you know about some of the new things going on at Wowhead! We've updated all of our Mists of Pandaria reputation guides, added a number of helpful filters to transmog sets, and implemented a reagents breakdown on profession pages.
Updated Reputation Guides
With a slight lull in PTRs, we've gone ahead and updated another batch of our Mists of Pandaria guides this week, after we updated all
profession guides last weekend
. With the reduction in experience needed to hit 90, and
Golden Lotus
requirement being removed from
Shado-Pan
and
The August Celestials
rep grinds in 5.3, you may just be interested in checking out some reps on your alts!
