i've also noticed male Velves have received a Skrillex-esque hair style.
I liked it better when the male void elves were shredded personally, but I guess I can understand Blizzard wanting to keep that degree of musculature Demon Hunter exclusive. A few skintones having the more muscular texture and a few having the new one would be nice so people could have the choice.
GIEF BACK ABS
i can't tell a difference between the two ripped states.v
Still no normal hair colors or complexions. /sigh
Void elves were far too sexy it seems.
Can't they just give a couple normal skin tones? Their hair colors and skin colors are the exact same as night elves.
I know they were Sin'dorei before, but I really don't get why they don't let us have High Elf skins. They should give it to us in the same way Demon Hunters can look completely normal without demonic corruption (Save for the eyes). That should make those who want Quel'dorei happy and those who don't want them, shouldn't use the skin. Also not having to add -another- allied elven race. Now that Alleria is on the Alliance it makes sense that some High Elves who were in her army (if there were any) followed her same path with the Void.
Yea yea more tiny little tidbits about the same new elfs every so many days... Big freakin deal... When are we going to learn more about the upcoming Dark Iron Dwarfs ?
Just when you thought you couldn't get any further into your emo-elf look...
Not that i'd care either way, but what is this fixation on Void Elves and them not getting 'human' tones? is it really that big of a deal? Speaking of tones and other aspects: Take a look at Dread Lords, particularly Balnazzar in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, then look at this:http://ptr.cuckhead.com/dressing-room#Vy0R0zJ8M0oM9V8m5Q808Qee87cQev87cQY487cQeE808Qel808QeB808QeC87VjAm I seeing things not there?
Is it so wrong to have a masculine elf for once? The old void elves looked like tough bastards you'd see in an actual war on the front lines, unlike the lithe archers/casters they're usually depicted as. The removal off some muscle outlines does them no justice. Oh well, I guess elves will remain the joke race if they keep looking so weak. I don't really have any interest in the race, so it's not like I'm upset or anything; just disappointed.wtb DO YOU EVEN LIFT elves, even if it looks dumb.
Void elves are lame.
Can't wait for this :) This is a very welcome change.
Can we move onto the fact that their heritage armor, and the fact Velves can be bald, make them look like dreadlords?
I just am so amused at how every response to someone advocating the harmful nature of stereotyping is, in essence;"Nope, you're wrong. For reasons."Heaven forfend you actually have to examine the toxic stereotypes you've been inculcated with and acknowledge the opinions and feelings of those who actually belong to the community being stereotyped.Blood Elves/Void Elves don't look gay. To be quite honest, they look normal. Like, as close to realistic proportions male player characters can get.Want to play an elf with the waist of a wasp and arms big enough to choke an elephant? Night elves!Want to play a brick outhouse that comes in brown, green or blue and has horns or tusks of some variety? Check, check, and check.Want to be permanently hunched over in an awkward fashion? You have options up the wazoo.Thought humans were normal? NOPE they are shaped like fleshy barrels.Blood Elves, and now Void Elves, have waists, musculature, and no improbably over sized limbs or extremities. They look basically normal. If you don't like it, great, choose one of the above options, but please don't bring stereotyping and homophobic nonsense veiled in righteousness into a discussion that has nothing to do with any of that.To the topic at hand;I would like to see a happy medium on the muscle textures. It was a bit extreme before, but now they look a bit too soft. Don't get me wrong, they look good, but something about the blueish skin tones make them look less fit than the texture actually is.I also hope they fix the male collar so the hair doesn't clip. I quite like some of the longer male void elf hairstyles, and it would be a shame not to be able to use the heritage collar.
