Gnome on a hawkstrider. Seems legit.
Absolutely love that Durotan trailer. Love the shot of him standing with the Horde in the background. And "I am Durotan, Chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan"? Lovely!Just one month to go (UK)! Will be pre-booking my tickets tonight.
So cool! But its a gnome rider? Give the hawkstrider to the Alliance and give a horse to the Horde :p
ha that's some clever cutting in the trailer
They should really make them look like chocobo's lol
I really like the new hawkstrider, except I hope they add an actual long(er) tail to it, maybe alike Pandaren Phoenixes from MoP Silver Challenge Mods. Less armor-y chocobos seem alright to me, but the amount of armor on this particular one makes it seem like it has no butt >.>
Lowest quality of all the vicious warmounts, a shame to see so much potential thrown in the trash...
This is my second favorite warmount so far, i wish they would add in more colorful mounts like this :]
I find the vicious hawkstrider ridiculous between the helm and all of the blades. The blades alone are a hazard for both the animal AND the rider. The helmet also restricts the mount's sight. A bird is not a bat and can move without sight. A hood is only used to calm an animal and keep them from attacking something. What also ticks me off is Blizzard puts all of this effort into new PvP racial mounts which aren't even account wide (they're still for a single character) and don't even count for the mountacular achievement and yet don't put any effort into new upgraded PvE racial mounts that DO count for the achievement. Every mount that doesn't count toward the mountacular I find to just be a waste of development time. I also find it disappointing that Blizzard keeps giving PvP nice armored versions of some mounts which are also incredibly limited in availability while PvE get crappy plain looking unarmored versions. PvP also get mounts that are often unique and rarely recolored while PvE get recolor upon recolor upon recolor. We got like 13 boars in WoD and nearly as many wolves. Meanwhile how many recolors did PvP get?
I know it's possibly not finished yet, but the detail of it doesn't meet up with what I'm seeing in the other rated PvP mounts.
That Orc campsite has the Ultimate Lighting
Damn, I love that orc camp. It looks like it was lifted right from the game's aesthetics.
The hawkstrider looks bad. Ostrich with pointy armor. Does actually someone ride those hawkstrider mounts?
Viciously peck your eyes...to replace it's own!
I will name my new hawkstrider Skarmory <3
Judging by the fact that a PvP mount most likely in most cases runs into a group of bloodthirsty PvP'rs Ide say not seeing where ure goin is quite logical :D And as this bird is blindly running into these group of jumping n gliding demonhunters, the wings might just chop some of em heads off; profit profit.
:/ While all of these mounts have been exceedingly amazing, including those released in WoD, it certainly seems to reinforce the idea that Blizz has once again chosen to ignore the more casual PvPers. Not everyone who does PvP likes arenas. While they don't have to agree with that, more attention paid to other areas of PvP could go a long way. And I'm almost positive a new system for gear isn't the entire answer.
