United in Stormwind - Hearthstone Recreates what WoW *was*All About
Thank you Tharid, this is an excellent write up. I love your enthusiasm. Celebrating the lore is a great direction for Hearthstone. The voice acting, the animations and the artwork are my favorite things in the card game.
yeah b/c the "meta" Isn't even set. Its a brand new xpack nothing is really meta yet

Isn't it kinda insulting than Varden, as the first non-binary person(?) description saying 'label' is trivial?Non-binary is your label Varden.
Very PC picture lol
What Hearthstone does is present places in Azeroth and beyond with a hint of whimsy while still creating interesting questlines that definitely feel important without everything being about the end of the world. (Well maybe the Galakrond one . . .)
As another reply said, they were the focus of last expansion. HOWEVER, the 5 horde characters(Warrior Rokara, Shaman Brukan, Mage Varden, Druid Guff, and Warlock Tamsin) have made their way to Stormwind as well. As it says in the article, Varden finds themselves in the stockades, so I'm guessing the rest of the crew is coming to break them out.
lmaaaaaaao
I disagree that Hearthstone - which was great when it first launched but has since become a super kid-friendly, safe/sterilized, violence/sexuality-censored, politically correct game that barely resembles Warcraft even visually - recreates what WoW is all about. But maybe that's just me.
Continue patting Blizzard on the back for putting your favorite check box into their games while they're under investigation for taking advantage of their female employees.
I can't imagine WoWHead kissing Blizz's rear any harder than they do in this post, but they do manage to always one-up themselves...And also at this expansion: 100% not at all my thing. I miss what WoW used to be. It's unrecognizable now.
Cool pro-Blizz censorship bro
