Spine of Deathwing is actually more difficult with two people than with one, as then the tentacles will grip (stun) both of you. Possible number of stuns may be higher. Having a pet with a pet bar helps here, otherwise, you are stunned so long that you often get thrown off, or killed by the raid damage.
As you weren't aware I spoke for both sides not just against or with hoppers. I myself find the LFG very helpful and use it in some cases for hopping between servers. However, calling an objective, unbiased opinion unnecessary just because you CBA to read it through is somewhat silly.
IMO - Premade Groups and Group Finder - Absolutely responsible for destroying smal/medium sized guilds and raid teams. It has been the sole reason our team fell apart and why people do not commit to playing. Additionally, friends have stopped playing or moved to other games because they are tired of having to pug slots on a raid team that was once always filled. The social atmosphere WoW use to have and the vehicle that provides players with "if I can't get what I want in this group", I'll just go jump into another group is known as Premade Groups and Group Finder.Blizzard - Premade Group and Group Finder is a "cataclysmic" epic fail that has ripped this game socially from one end of Azeroth to the other.
I use custom group extensively for people to be able to come to my garrison to disenchant unwanted gear, for Erris the pet battler, and for the fur/dust/herb/etc traders (not so much any more for traders but still useful). I create a custom group, title: Disenchant, Erris, dust trader (for example). In the description, I fill in the blanks, Level 3 disenchanting hut with transmog follower, Erris the pet battler, Guild bank, Dust Trader, Auto invite, PVE.I create the group, turn on auto invite, and convert to raid. IMPORTANT! There are settings for raids that will nix your group quickly if not set to 40 man raid, Talent spec 1, and PVE in the raid profiles in the interface. As is, expect the group to be dropped after a bit (I donno why it does this!). Just relist your group. As for cross realmers, I do not encourage them as I share my garrison for 30 minutes or so 2-3 times a night so not much time to get done. You can remove anyone who is offline or is dead or low health as they are obviously not sharing your garrison. People do a LOT of disenchanting so this kind of group is always welcomed by lots of people. I used it a TON to get Primal Spirits for Savage Blood upgrades using the traders.NOTE: you cannot use another garrison's trading post unless you have one of your own. Someone correct me if this is not true.
I love having mythic warforged tusks of mannoroth ;3
I guess
Thank you for this guide :) I've got one question and one remark on it:Is there a way of searching for groups that contain either of the search words I provide? i.e. something like?doom ?deathwould return all groups that contain either doom or death (or both), instead of returning groups that contain both doom AND death. Is there any syntax to allow this? And my remark: Another thing where the open raid finder comes quite handy is the ability to form a raid group all by yourself. This allows you to e.g. slow down the progress of some quests like Assault on Lost Veil Anzu if you want to make the achievements there ;-)
is this still available with Legion? I am looking for a way to find Rated Battlegrounds groups/guilds and so far I've been unsuccessful so this might be what I need if it's still out there
The current implementation of group finder is one of the best things they have done for the game imo. It really opens up playstyle options and opportunities especially if you're a more casual and or solo player who isn't prepared to commit to any kind of set group schedule.
Was looking for info on how to accept applicants, It's not apparent from the interface, since there's only a red X reject button. Still looking.
